Meet RTL Network’s CEO/Founder – Richard Lewis

Richard is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and William and Mary’s MBA program. He also holds a master’s degree in Computer Systems Security and has more than 30 years of military and corporate leadership experience. RTL Networks, Inc. has grown into a multimillion-dollar firm recognized by organizations such as the Small Business Administration, Denver Business Journal, ColoradoBiz Magazine, and Inc Magazine, among others.
With his consistent demonstration of outstanding leadership, Richard has not only sustained extraordinary growth and created meaningful and valuable jobs within his organization, but he has also stepped up and has done much good in the civic, political, and non-profit community. Meet RTL Network’s VP of DOD Business Development– Mike Lebofsky.

Mr. Lebofsky has 35+ years of Federal industry experience as a VP/Director of Support Services, Program Manager, Systems Analyst, and Programmer. After graduating from George Mason University’s Electrical and Computer Sciences Engineering program. Mike went on to complete numerous master's level and commercial courses in computer systems architecture, security, administration, and federal business development.

Since joining the team in 2015, Mike’s leadership has been an integral part of RTL’s day-to-day operations and success. We are proud to have him on our team.

Department of Defense and National Security Agency announce new cybersecurity initiative aiming to close the cybersecurity talent gap.

Through this partnership, Minority Serving institutions and Historically Black Colleges and Universities wishing to establish a cybersecurity program are connected with NSA’s Centers of Academic Excellence-designated institutions in their region which provide advice on program development.

Students of participating schools can receive paid stipends through DoD-created internships with businesses in the student’s geographic area and hands-on experience through Maryland Innovation & Security Institute’s virtual cyber range. This combination of experiential learning and contextual training allows students to develop the critical skills necessary to address cybersecurity challenges in their geographic area. Students, through use of a “cyber range”-built to develop technical skills, can also provide technical assistance to participating institutions and small businesses in multiple industrial sectors.

RTL Networks would like to highlight the Sims-Fayola Foundation. The Sims-Fayola Foundation is a youth and equity focused foundation whose mission is to improve the life-outcomes of young men and boys of color and increase the capacity of those who work with them.

Over the past 5 years, RTL has been in partnership with the Sims-Fayola Foundation in their work to address systemic inequities for young men and boys of color through their programming as well as providing an operating location for their home office. We are super proud of the work they are doing in communities around the country for their target population and suggest you take a look at supporting them as well.

In this time of unrest in our world, the work the Sims-Fayola Foundation is doing is refreshing and needed more than ever. They examined our financials, asked an abundance of probing questions about our past struggles and future plans and put me through a gauntlet of interviews.... Last month, when we were selected as a finalist, I was surprised. Last night, when we were named the winner, I was flabbergasted.

The mission of the DMTP is to attract, retain, and grow ambitious tech talent by pioneering a progressive culture of diversity and innovation where anyone can thrive. The DMTP is a Colorado Technology Association (CTA) partner organization with three primary objectives:
• act as a voice of the tech industry in the Denver Metro area to support a thriving information and technology industry;
• collaborate with community and regional partners to support, educate, and train a viable technology sector workforce; and
• advocate for the development of a strong technology workforce through outreach and regional collaboration opportunities that bring the tech industry and supporting partners together.

Every summer, students served by Denver Human Services (DHS) are nominated to be “adopted,” or sponsored, by community members and organizations. For the 3rd year in a row, RTL Networks has proudly supported this wonderful organization. RTL Networks is extremely honored to see its CEO, Richard Lewis, named as one of this year's Buckley Air Force Base Honorary Commanders. The purpose of this program is to create and sustain relationships between military and community leaders. As an Honorary Commander, Richard will be paired with a Buckley commander to participate in a variety of discussions and base-wide activities throughout the next two years. Richard is excited for the opportunity to become more familiar with the essential national defense missions performed on Buckley and the outstanding people who make them possible and to sharing his insights and knowledge on the vibrant and diverse communities outside the base perimeter. It’s the season for giving, and RTL is thrilled with the success of our toy drive this year for the Toys for Tots program as a corporate partner of the Comitis Crisis Center! The toys collected at Comitis will be distributed to 150 families through the Aurora Police Department, with the overall Toys for Tots distribution coordinated via Buckley Air Force Base. This year they anticipate distributing more than 100,000 toys to children in need during the holidays throughout the entire Denver Metro area. Thank you to everyone that helped us make a few more smiles happen this holiday season!
