This past Thursday I had the pleasure of executing a collaborative dinner for a charitable auction prize. The event was for 12 guests at a beautiful home in Denver, PA. I chose to enlist the talent of some of my favorite local women in business to help me pull this vision together. flowers, linen menus, table decor, linens by Special Occasions Collection . Expertly served multi-coursed dinner and signature cocktails by my team and me, and the gorgeously pairedwines for the evening were generously donated from a local private collector.

We are back from a wonderful week away as a family!! It was my daughter’s first cruise, and we made so many precious memories, I truly can’t stop counting my blessings. It’s only fitting to share the next Semi-Custom suite, named after her, The Kayleigh Suite. 💌

This suite was originally designed with her in mind for Styled Shoots Across America and has been published many times. Last year one of our brides chose this suite to expand on and customize! All that to say, it’s probably one of my all time favorites!!

Kayleigh will be 13 this summmer 😭 and has been my little design side kick since she could read (which was pretty early on) 😆 She would check envelope addresses, ask what every couple picked out after a consultation, and now is my voice of reason when I can’t make up my own mind on a design! We spent 6 years sitting side by side homeschooling, learning, answering emails, assembling and designing. She’s been my tag along to shoots, envelope organizer, collector of leftover embellishments, my inspiration to be the best version of myself, and my greatest gift from the Lord!! 👩‍👧

This suite is shown in Sage, but the beauty of the semi custom line is there are 12 classic colors to choose from! You’ll easily find one that fits your wedding esthetic!!

Important Availability update:
I feel like I’ve been running a marathon for the last 6 months (or 6 years) so I’m very ready for vacation! I’ll be out of the office from 5/24-6/6 for some family vitamin Sea time and end of year school activities with my kiddo!

Additionally, I am not currently taking on any more projects for 2023 or booking yet for 2024. I will be taking a longer break after July of this year to refocus my business and prioritize family life.

I appreciate your understanding and grace in this break! I would also welcome your prayers as I seek the Lord’s direction. This has always been HIS business, and I want to live it out in the way He calls!!

Oh Hey!! 👋 It’s been forever since I showed my face here, or even posted, but that happens during busy seasons.

For those of you new to following, I’m Ashley, the lady behind the pretty paper 💌 Here are a few facts about me-

▫️I have a degree in Graphic Communications and fell in love with paper in college. Thankfully I had a professor, thanks , who worked in the greeting card industry who didn’t think my paper fascination was crazy, and he encouraged me to pursue my passion!

▫️I’ll be married to my High School Sweetheart and best friend for 15 years in August! My own wedding invitation was the first I ever created, and I knew this was the industry I wanted to work in.

▫️Things I don’t love: red meat (I’m mostly vegetarian) bugs (butterflies are pretty though 🦋) waking up early (night owl here)
any condiments (no ketchup, mustard or mayo for me) and not having a plan (I write to-do lists for my to-do lists!

I’m so thankful to live out this dream that God has given me! I appreciate every like, comment, and encouraging word, and just the fact that you’d take the time out of your day to follow along and support small business!! Thank you so much 🙏

For this suite we were able to swap out the envelope for a beautiful plum shimmer belly band with white ink monogram to bring the design all together! Working with a professional helps save you time and money when it comes to the pieces you really need for your invitations! 💌

Unique by Design and Wild Indigo are thrilled to present Spring in Bloom, a luxurious, editorial shoot. We are excited to be partnering with some of Central Pennsylvania’s finest wedding vendors to bring photographers a day filled with inspiration. Each participant will have access to a large scale ceremony installation, a lush tablescape design, multiple flat lay options, and professional headshots.

Time slots are available at 10:00AM, 11:30AM, 1:00PM, 2:30pm, & 4:00 (potentially). The cost per participant is $275. Photographers will have access to the ceremony space for 30 minutes and the reception space for 30 minutes. A bride will be present to model. A groom will potentially be added.  Additionally, Addie Eselman will take headshots for each attendee. There will never be more than 2 photographers shooting in the same room (ceremony or reception). All photographers are highly encouraged to share their finished galleries with the vendor team. When posting photos, we ask that the above vendor team is tagged.

The shoot will take place at Wild Indigo’s historic 1860’s home in Carlisle, PA. All participants will be asked to sign a hold harness agreement. Light refreshments will be provided by The Grazery.
