We are available to care for referred patients, recommended for follow up by your Primary Care Pediatrician, Primary Care Provider, Ophthalmologist or Optometrist.

We'd like you to know a few key points about differences you might experience working with our practice in light of COVID19:

For our patients – New and Established:

• WE AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE AND ARE HERE TO HELP! Our physicians are standing by to help you with urgent and emergent medical vision services. Availability is offered via telemedicine. If an in person patient visit is required, those patients will be accommodated as much as possible.

• WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! The practice’s phone lines are open during regular business hours (M-F 830am to 430pm – closed from 12pm to 1pm). We are working with a smaller staff so please be patient, we’re doing everything we can to help as many people as possible. All callers are offered the option of leaving a voice mail. Our phone is 303-456-9456.

• WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK – 24/7/365! The practice’s patients are covered for Emergency call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We turn our phones over to a professional answering service who will page the on call physician for assistance.

• WHERE ARE WE? In the Denver metro area, we have three office locations. An afternoon only clinic or clinics will be offered on various days during the week. These appointment slots are reserved for those patients only who can be safely seen and who have urgent/emergent vision problems.

• COLORADO WESTERN SLOPE PATIENTS - For our Grand Junction clinic, these patient schedules and referrals are being scrutinized and managed carefully based on each individual patient need. Care plans are being tailored to the patient’s needs, balanced by our travel to the area.

We will continue to update you as more information becomes available and we will do all we can to protect you, your family, our physicians and our employees.

To our valued patients, families, and friends of Children's Eye Physicians: Unfortunately this unprecedented global pandemic poses a serious health threat. Our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff, and community, and we are deeply committed to keeping everyone safe. On March 18th, 2020, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended that all routine eye care visits as well as all elective surgery be postponed. As of March 20, 2020, we have made the difficult decision to suspend our routine clinical, optical, and surgical services and will only be open for urgent care needs. If you have an appointment or surgery scheduled with us, our office will be in touch to help reschedule your appointment. Our office will have limited hours so please be patient as we navigate this difficult situation together.

Eleven teams competed and acquired points through answering questions related to Denver's numerous landmarks.

The good people at urbanadventurequest.com lead the tour through Denver which proved to be an enjoyable team building exercise.
