Our approach can be described as more of a Director vs "posing". We want you to be natural and interact together authentically. THEN if we see that your arm should be moved a certain way or your weight should be shifted, we'll tell you. Sometimes you can't tell that you need to relax your shoulders, so we are meticulously looking for those things...

We understand that most people have never been photographed professionally, and know that we can all be our own worst critics! Don't worry - we gotchu... we have seen other photographers who DON'T tell their clients these things and we just don't work like that. We want you to love your images forever! 🤍

The hand-strap keeps the camera in my hand when I am running around (and it's comfortable), and the belt keeps all my gear organized and handy so I can be hands-free to help with veils, fluffing dresses, etc. BONUS - It keeps the weight off of my neck and shoulders!

It's almost 90 degrees, mid-day in full sun - not a cloud in the sky (and you're wearing all black)...

So you sweet talk/beg the owner of the beach-side cafe into letting you borrow a few chairs (even though you don't speak Italian)...

The videographer keeps getting in your shot...

BUT you're in Amalfi at the world-famous Atrani Beach, and you rock.that.sh*t.🍾

I couldn't wait any longer to post this one of Monica!

We were on our way to the first look...it was hot...everyone was hot...but I couldn't help myself. Walking down these steps to Atrani Beach where her Groom was waiting, I had to stop and take a few minutes to catch her in this environment.

Amalfi is stairs....a lot of stairs... stairs everywhere. BUT THESE STAIRS...these stairs were spectacular... the texture - the flowers - just the whole vibe... if it doesn't scream "Italy"...

I love doing day-after sessions when traveling for a destination wedding. This is so that we have more time to capture those epic portraits outside of the wedding day.

In Amalfi, there are so many amazing locations, vantage points, textures, and photo opps... even though it was super busy with tourists, I was able to find an area that was off the beaten path away from the chaos. We were blessed with a thin layer of cloud cover that softened the harsh sun...(I called in a favor with the Roman gods). 👍

When location scouting for this day-after session, I found this wall on the side of a church and loved the texture! Even a simple blank canvas can make for the most epic portrait locations...

I love capturing these little moments between couples and just wonder what is going through their minds at that exact moment. Only they know...but it's almost as though you could read their thoughts...

I had hoped to get this out the day after while still in Italy but the wifi was terrible... so then I had hoped to do it on the 10 hr plane ride from London, but my computer wouldn't accept the power on the plane... SO after a day of "recovery", I am back at the computer working on thier collection.
