Trying to find that perfect picture of the 1985 game OU vs SMU game was little harder than we thought… So we went simple. Would love to hear your prediction on this, what should be a good, test for the Sooners.

We will will be at our home away from home again, Stoney's Bar and Grill for the 4pm MDT kick. Best part of the late afternoon game is it is NOT 10am and you can get that hike, kid swim lesson, brunch, laundry, yard work, manicure, or nap in all before game time. Always our recommendation to get there early for the good seats!

The OU Club of Colorado will be hosting a summer social on Thursday, July 13. Several members for the Alumni Association as well as Club Leadership will be there to say hello at our home away from home for Sooner Sports, Stoney's Bar and Grill. OU Club of Colorado supporters we are happy to share that after a two year t-shirt hiatus, we are bringing back our annual club shirt. If you check the all the boxes (Sooner Born, Sooner Bred, and Colorado Proud) please help support our fundraising efforts by purchasing a shirt or ten and help to provide scholarship dollars to Colorado and Wyoming high school students lookong to go to OU for their collegiate journey.

Shirts will be on sale this weekend at Stoneys (coming soon to The Springs) for $30. ALL, and we mean it when we say ALL, of the proceeds for these sales goes directly to help support incoming and current OU students. We handed out nearly 30 scholarships last year and we cannot do this without your help! Direct pay via QR code for credit/debit cards and cash payments will be available and accepted.

Doors will open by 9am at Stoneys in Denver and Bubba’s in Colorado Springs for the Red River Rivalry as OU looks to rebound against its true nemesis. GO SOONERS and BEAT THE HELL OUT OF saxet!!!!

Summer still rages on, which means Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium turf is still Frost-less…. Too soon?!

While the Big Red of the north is Frost-less, the fans are the exact opposite of classless. Although we still hate Bill Callahan! Our Team in Cream faces Husker Nation minus the Black Shirts at 10am MDT. We will be at our favorite Denver and Springs spots, Stoney's Bar and Grill and Bubba's 33 for a few 🥱🥱 and hopefully a lot of touchdowns for the Sooners. Doors at Stoneys open at 9:30 and we will have a few favorite breakfast items and Bloody Mary’s. Doors will open at Bubba’s around 9am.

You might think Coach V and the team are raising the traditional OU number one in celebration or maybe singing the chant….. What they are doing is letting you know we have reached the ONE game that is not readily available for the TV masses as the game will be on ESPN+.

What this means for you is that you get to come and enjoy the game on the house, thanks Stoney's Bar and Grill and Bubba's 33 for having the game on for us! Kickoff is 5:00pm MDT as the Sooner take on the Golden Flickers. Specials will be flowing for Sooner fans as we get our first taste of fall.

Congratulations to OU Alum Brandon Moore being named head coach of the Colorado School of Mines football program! We wish you the best of luck! Go Orediggers! Boomer!

A native of Baldwin, N.Y., Moore had an accomplished playing career as a linebacker, first as a four-year letter winner and 2001 national championship winner with Oklahoma, playing under Bob Stoops and then-defensive coordinator and now-head coach Brent Venables. Moore went on to a long professional career that included six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers from 2002 to 2007, a season with the San Diego Chargers in 2010, and three seasons with the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives in 2009-10 and 2011. After his playing retirement, he launched his coaching career as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona, and he served two NFL Minority Internships with the Chargers in 2018 and the Tennessee Titans in 2019.

One of the BEST rivalries is renewed Saturday at 10:00am MDT as our boys take on the Cornshuckers from the land where it is spelled Nowledge! There were many ups and downs over the years.
