After months of anticipation and delays, we finally opened the doors to our first Mici on July 19th, 2004. It wasn't until a few days later that we realized this special date coincided with our great-grandpa Pop's birthday. Growing up, we were nurtured by our dad Jerry's incredible cooking, so when we decided to open a restaurant, it was only natural to ask him for his cherished recipes. He agreed, with one stipulation: "I'll give you the recipes, but the only way you’re going to get the same results is if you use the best ingredients." We made that promise to him, and it’s a promise we still keep today!
We create our family recipe sauces and meats in small batches, always using high-quality, scratch ingredients. Despite the challenges, we stayed true to our vision, ignoring the doubts and focusing on delivering the finest Italian cuisine, using recipes passed down through generations. Our hard work was fueled by a passion for sharing our love of food with the community and neighbors.
Today, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we're thrilled to have multiple locations across Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and Michigan. Each location is a testament to our family recipes, our team's dedication and the incredible support of our amazing guests. We always say that we are an operations-first company. If we execute the family recipes and serve them with sincere hospitality, success will follow.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has believed in us. To all of our dedicated hardworking Mici team members who have worked with us over the past 20 years, and to all who have shared a meal and created memories at our Mici locations, we are deeply grateful.

🗓️ Today marks the 20th anniversary of the first Mici (an abbreviation of our family name, Miceli). 🥳 Thanks, Dad, for giving us permission to use our family recipes 🇮🇹 and for the hours it took to get them from your head onto paper! We fondly remember you standing over the big pot making your sauce as we had to police your every move to make sure you measured the ingredients for consistency. 🤣
Mom and Dad, we are so grateful to both of you for your constant support over the years (including your long hours of sweat equity 😅 in the early days)! We are so proud of how Mici, as well as our family, has grown over the past twenty years, and we wouldn't be here without you. 🙏

🎉 Can you believe it? We're about to hit the big 2-0 at Mici Italian! 🍝 Back in 2004, the week before we opened our doors, we welcomed an incredible guy named Mike to our team. Fast forward 20 years, and he's still here, just like Mici!
Whenever our parents visit, they always ask for Mike. Our dad, Jerry, passed down our cherished family recipes to him, especially our scratch-made sauces and meatballs. Mike learned each recipe with the same love and care that Jerry put into them.
Mike's dedication and friendship mean the world to us. You can find him at our Colorado Blvd. location in Denver, sipping on 10 cups of iced tea and jamming out to every genre of music. He loves a good chat with guests and new team members alike.
