Very Excited for Gabby Gutierrez-Reed performance in Momma McCracken's Comedy Closet 7pm Jan 15, 2022 at Rise Comedy!

Gabby, is on of my favorite Colorado based comedians. She is playful and powerful on stage. She hones in with her unique voice to joke about relatable moments in life. She has been in High Plains Comedy Festival, Beast Village Comedy Festival, and will be in this upcoming Alaska B4UDie Festival. One of my favorite things about her performances, is her knack to be spontaneously perfect in her timing and delivery.

Mumming is a medieval holiday tradition in England, usually involving Father Christmas, devil-clowns, magical quack doctors, and murderous saints. Someone usually gets killed and resurrected—sometimes twice! This one has to be improvised, though, and fit into Momma’s closet… so who knows WHAT will happen… Holly Happidays! or Holy Harpydays! whatevs hahahahahhaahaaaaaaa!!!!

So excited! I have watched Katie Bowman perform serval times in Denver. She brings a strong positive vibe and voice to Denver's comedy scene. Her voice is best described as confessional and goofy. She connects with the audience through bits about her life as a social underdog using voices and act outs.

It feels good to be still kicking! Last night's show at Rise Comedy was amazing fun! Many of us on stage have not performed since the start of the pandemic. And, what a treat to have a packed audience. Thank you closet friends for coming out late night to support live performances and to my family that supports and hears their life on stage!

This talented group has been playing together since 2015. See them combine fully-improvised songs, dancing, rap, and scenes to create a vaudeville-inspired musical in front of your eyes. Emu Facts: emus grow to be 5-6 feet tall. They weigh about 130 lbs and their eggs are 3lbs. One egg makes an omelet that feeds 6 people. I don't eat emu eggs, it is just an odd fact that I read on National Geographic website. Their eggs seem like something Costco would sell.

Introducing you to Colin Tilleman - Momma McCracken's Comedy Variety Show Musician! 🎸🎶
As a child growing up in Bozeman, Montana, Colin fantasized about being the front man of a rock band. This led him to pick up a guitar in 2001 and eventually play in bands, write songs, and once help defuse a fight with the power of the Backstreet Boys. Colin has studied improv at theaters such as the UCB and Bovine Metropolis, and has performed in shows like Denver's Next Improv Star and Improv Cabaret.
