You know that saying about "misery loves company"? It's true. Emotions are multiplied when they are shared. If you're feeling discouraged about your business, don't go find someone to share in your frustration. Hustle up a little excitement and then find someone to share THAT with.

When we find ourselves in others' stories, it is a beautiful thing. We feel like someone out there gets us, understands us, knows us. Stories connect us to each other and add meaning to our lives. Our stories can do the same for others. Don't keep your story to yourself.

Merry Christmas! Tell someone you love them today. Tell lots of someone's. Tell yourself.

Self-explanatory! We do a lot for others all the time, but doing things for strangers just feels different, doesn't it?

You did it! Take a minute to think of where you are. The year is almost over, the holidays are almost here, and you are in one piece. That's worth celebrating!

We all have lists. Try focusing on what you did get done instead of what you didn't.

The holidays can be difficult for many of us because of many different reasons - missing loved ones no longer here, feeling lonely, worrying about finances, or a million other things. It's OK to feel however you feel.

Even if you're busy, sometimes you need a reason to sit down and relax. Watching a movie, by yourself or with others, allows you to escape and do something fun at the same time!

What's your favorite movie?

Expressing gratitude is good for the soul. Writing it down brings you an extra level of happiness. What are you grateful for today?

A few minutes of fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for the mind, body, and spirit. Take a walk around the block or just sit on your front porch in the sun with your eyes closed. Rejuvenation can be simple.

This can be a tough one. We never know what someone else is going through and especially during busy times, emotional times, and pandemic times, people are more stressed than usual. So many places are short staffed and the people who are showing up deserve our respect, patience, and kindness.

What are the special treats you love during the holidays? Gingerbread men, peppermint cocoa, sugar cookies, fudge, flavored coffee, what else? Maybe it reminds you of baking with your family, maybe it reminds you of relaxing while decorating, whatever it is, don't feel guilty about indulging in the holiday season. If it makes you happy...

The 2nd day of Christmas. When we get busy we sometimes look right past what is beautiful and joyful. Someone needs to hear this today! Where do you find joy in your surroundings?

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me... and so on, and so on. Longest song ever, right? I may not be your true love, but I do have wishes for you this season.

Whatever you need to nourish your sprit, mind, and body right now - I'm holding space for you and hoping you find it / get it / make it / allow it.
