When a group of tourists visited a crocodile farm, the owner of the place launched a daring proposal;
-Whoever dares to jump, swim to shore and survive, I will give 1 million dollars.
Nobody dared to move. Suddenly, a man jumped into the water and desperately swam towards the shore while being chased by all the crocodiles.
With great luck he arrived, taking the admiration of everyone in the place, then the owner announced;
-We have a brave winner.
After collecting their reward, the couple returned to the hotel, upon arrival, the manager told him; he was very brave to jump, then the man said;
-I didn't jump, someone pushed me!
His wife smiled ...
Moral: "Behind every successful man, there is a woman who pushes him."

"Last night, I learned a big lesson about patriotism, compassion for your fellow man, and respect.....from an 8 year old little boy at McDonalds in Shamrock, Texas. Amongst french fries and chicken nuggets, in walks a man and his wife. The man was wearing a Vietnam Veteran cap that was adorned with several pins. I don't know that anyone noticed him when he walked in, nor did they notice his cap; but the eight year old little boy did. Even after he had asked his mom several times (three to be exact) if he could "go shake that guy's hand and tell him thank you for his service", she said no, for fear of disturbing his supper. But on the fourth plea, mom gave in; and the little boy marches right over to the gentleman and says, "sir, thank you for your service" and shakes his hand. The gentleman pauses, and with a cracking voice says, "young man, you are very welcome and thank YOU for noticing....you just made my day, maybe my whole week!" Everyone went back to their meal and before the boy left, the gentleman walked over and said, "son, I would like for you to have this." It was his 1st Calvary pin that he wore on his cap. The little guy says thank you and quickly takes his cap off and let's his uncle attach the pin to his cap and runs to show his mom and aunt what the veteran had given him. I don't know who was more overcome with emotion, the veteran, for someone noticing all that he had fought for; the little boy, for meeting "a real-life hero" or those that observed this interaction. All in all, it reminded me that no matter the place, no matter the time nor situation, honoring our soldiers past and present, and their unselfish sacrifice is paramount. So here's to all those that stepped up and shouldered the responsibility of protecting our country, there are no words big enough to say thank you."

WHAT RELIGION IS YOUR BRA?
A man walked into the ladies department and shyly walked up to
the woman behind the counter and said,
'I'd like to buy a bra for my wife. '
' What type of bra?' asked the clerk.
'Type?' inquires the man, 'There's more than one type?'
' Look around,' said the saleslady, as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, color and material imaginable.
'In fact, despite the abundance of options, there are essentially only four types of bras available to choose from.'
Relieved, the man asked about the types.
The saleslady replied:
'There are the Catholic, Salvation Army, Presbyterian, and the Baptist types.
Which one would you prefer?'
Now totally befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them.
The Saleslady responded, 'It is all really quite simple.'
The Catholic type supports the masses;
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen;
The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright;
The Baptist type makes mountains out of molehills.

80-year-old woman completes annual 600-mile trek with her pony and dog
Every year, Jane Dotchin packs her saddlebags and sets off on an epic journey from her home near Hexham, Northumberland, up to Inverness, Scotland.
Since 1972, Jane, 80, has been heading on this annual trip on her 13-year-old horse, Diamond, travelling 600 miles on horseback.
This time, she began her journey on August 31, with her disabled Jack Russell, Dinky, for company as she covers between 15 and 20 miles a day.
The trip sees Jane carrying everything she needs on her back, including her tent, food, and a few key belongings.
After that initial journey, she caught the taste for the open road, and travelled to visit friends near Fort Augustus, near Loch Ness, Highlands, every autumn since.
Her epic journey usually takes around seven weeks, depending on weather, and Jane uses it as a chance to pop in and say hi to people she has met over the years.
She sustains herself on porridge, oatcakes, and cheese, and doesn’t need much electricity as she has an old mobile phone with a battery that lasts six weeks.

"My grandfather was in the hospital last week and while admitted he was having intermittent episodes of confusion. Some of it was related to his mild dementia and some of it was the pain medicine.
At one point, he asked, 'Have they given me the go ahead to play?'
I said, 'The go ahead to play?'
He said, 'Yes, did the doctor give me my permit to play?'
I said, 'Play what??'
He said, (in a somewhat annoyed tone) 'Lindsay, I want to play ball with the boys.'
He was referring to my two sons. They are 11 and 8. Choking back tears, I just smiled and said, 'Of course you can play.'
Now, here we are exactly one week later.
My grandfather was cremated this morning at 10am. All on their own my sweet boys decided to put this in the casket with him...
It says "Come play anytime. Love, Chase and Trav."

Byron Olivier, 48, of Church Point Louisiana and his wooden sculpture bench he made to honor his long passed grandparents. This master craftsman carved the piece so that he could once again sit with his "mawmaw and pawpaw" and drink coffee and smoke ci******es with them like he did as a child.
