Ramah in the Rockies
We combine 75 years of the Ramah experience with the best of outdoor adventure, Judaism, & friendship
This specialty camp opened for campers in the summer of 2010 in the Colorado Rockies. We offer programing for entering 3rd-12th graders with a focus on hiking, climbing, backpacking and navigation, river rafting, canoeing, horseback riding and environmental education. Ramah in the Rockies will continue in the model of all Ramah camps by creating inspiring Jewish educational experiences for all involved in this new program.

Today we celebrate America's Independence Day camp style, with lots of simcha (joy) and shtick. We celebrate the values of freedom, liberty, and civic responsibility while also recognizing that these values are not applied equally in this country. During Torah Tidbit (or Bible Biblit, as we call it today) this morning, we were reminded of our obligation to pursue justice — צדק צדק תרדף — and the work we must do to ensure freedom and justice for all.
Our 1B campers are here! The day was full of exciting chuggim (activities) and lots of fun 🤸🏼♀️🚴🏽♂️
Yesterday, we celebrated Yom Israel! Our incredible mishlachat (Israeli staff) prepared a day full of learning, fun, and connection. We started the day with a camp-wide tfilah and continued by participating in the movement. The chalutzim learned about different aspects of Israel, and we even had a Shuk! We are so grateful for all the effort and love our Israeli staff put into this day.
