Our first Valentine's Day home in 29 years. Missing all of our wonderful friends and guests tonight. Happy Valentine's Day wherever you are. Erin and Nathan ❤️
Nathan is such a culinary genius. If you're a fan of his carnitas, you would have loved tonight's carnitas baked potato.

We have finally turned in the keys to our beloved Noodle after a brutal 5 weeks +58 years.
Thank you Denver for all of your love and support during the last almost 6 decades and most especially the last month. We are grateful.
Nathan, myself and the pooches have finally hit the road for a much needed respite. We plan to sleep, eat, explore and rejuvenate ourselves.
The photo reflects the 5 books I brought along that have thick layers of dust. I had always planned to read them, but alas work always took precedence.
We plan to update our social media along our journey as much as possible as we want to stay connected to all of you. Hopefully we won't bore you all with photos of sunsets and food (likely not Italian)😂
Before we go we'd like to say a few words of thanks to some amazing people that made this closing so much easier. So thank you Michael A. Without whom we wouldn't have captured the amazing photos of our beautiful Saucy family. Thank you to my amazing employees, who could have easily left the minute we heard our news but instead worked harder than they ever had before, until the bitter end. Thank you to our 30+ former employees that showed up to surprise us and to Sasha, Jordan, Josh and Brooke for asking to work one last shift at a place they hadn't worked in for 10 years just to be there one more time.
Thank you Sam and Laura, Eddie and Maren, John and Carey, Becky and Aaron, Sasha and Kevin, Susan and Jeff, Doug, Elizabeth, Louise and Ben for being there until the very end.
Thank you Jared without whom we would still be moving out way past our exit day. Thank you for your incredible help countless hours and friendship. We truly couldn't have done it without you.
Thanks to Jon and Elizabeth for your trailer and moving help.
Thank you Susan for finding a truck (so hard to find in Denver) thank Ken for us too.

To our Saucy Noodle friends and family,
We wanted to start out this letter by thanking you for all of the love you have shown our little restaurant over the course of the last several decades.
For 58 years, we have had the privilege of sharing with you our family history, recipes, and oversized meatballs, and we are so grateful to have had this opportunity to cement ourselves as a part of Denver’s history, while meeting so many wonderful people along the way. Many of you have become lifelong friends, and we feel truly honored to have been a part of your lives, whether you dined with us for one meal before a Pioneers game or made Saturday Night Pie a part of your weekly routine.
It is with great sadness that we announce to you today that on Sunday, August 14, 2022, our doors will be closing. Although we have been anticipating this day for some time, we had hoped to continue operations until the end of summer. Unfortunately, we have been unexpectedly evicted by our landlord, and have no choice but to make this difficult decision.
Though it is incredibly difficult to say goodbye, we feel so fortunate that you have helped us to keep Sam’s legacy alive and continued to support us for so many years. Thank you for helping us rebuild when we lost everything in the fire of April 2000. Thank you for your loyal support as we made adjustments to our services during the pandemic. Thank you for being our test subjects when Nathan experiments in the kitchen, for all of the breadsticks and Sawyer Salads eaten, and for telling your friends who don’t like garlic to go home. We will never forget the many thousands of memories that have been made here, and we are endlessly grateful to have shared them with you.
While these circumstances are out of our control, we will not let them stop us from going out on a high note. For the next three weeks, we invite you to join us in celebrating the Saucy Noodle from 4 PM until "the party’s over" as we serve a special menu that highlights our most delicious achievements over the last six decades.
This will be a very difficult transition, and though we have not yet determined what our next steps will be, we leave you with a promise that the Saucy Noodle legacy will be carried on wherever our journey leads us next.
Thank you for being a part of our family, Denver.
With love and lots of garlic,
Erin, Nathan, Sawyer, and Ayine Markham
Thank you Sam and Laura for another wonderful afternoon celebrating our staff. You are the kindnest and we love you. ❤️

20 Denver Restaurants That Have Stood the Test of Time These old spots still got it
Are you aware of Denver's program? Did you know you now need to ask for things like condiments, napkins, and utensils? Restaurants could face fines of up to $999 if they are caught giving these items away without request. The objective of course is to reduce waste however, it is still illegal to bring in your own containers for takeout. We have used more plastic in the last 2 years during the pandemic than ever before. With supply chain shortages, there have been times when some of the containers we can obtain are not recyclable. Wouldn't allowing guests to bring in their own takeout containers make more sense than an extra napkin being placed in a bag, and therefore hitting restaurants in their pocketbooks yet again??
