Sweet Chicago fam 🤍

I’ve been friends with for many, many years. I think he was one of the first people to ever buy my art and put it in his house. I absolutely loved meeting and photographing his family, and this was one of my favorite shoots of the summer. A perfect night in Humboldt park.

Lauren + Steven (part I of probably III:) I met when I first moved to Denver a few years ago and we became fast friends over margaritas and porch hangs. She asked me to photograph her wedding in Italy two years in advance and I began counting down the days. It was such a gorgeous day, and despite the looming possibility of rain, it held out and was perfect. Lauren and Steven are a dream team, and I see a big awesome future for them. So honored they allowed me to photograph this day.

From engagement to maternity— I love photographing these two (soon to be 3!)

I met Josh and Lisa separately many many years ago. Lisa and I worked at a bar together (RIP Rocking Horse) and Josh used to go to the bar. They have both been long time friends that I absolutely adore. They just renovated their house, and now have these two cute kids and I am so happy for them. 🤍

Sweet baby Jude was born to the best fam. She’s a lucky lady. Danielle + Pete were in my birthing class for my first kid, and it’s so cool to see their sweet fam grow.

I cannot tell you how much I love these newborn/family shoots where it is stress free. No “getting ready.” No “smile for the camera.” Just play and be as you are. Especially three days after giving birth. Thanks for having me .

In July of 2020, the heart of the pandemic, we decided to sell our house in Chicago ourselves. I did random showings here and there, and we got a last minute call on September 9th for a showing. It was my birthday and we were going to go out to dinner but instead we ate at home on the patio while a couple looked at our house. A little while later we sold it to that couple and moved to Denver.

Stacy + Peter moved in and had twin boys shortly after. We’ve kept in touch since I still get all my tax mail sent there (sorry guys) and I had the awesome experience of photographing them in my old house.

This was such an easy shoot because A.) Look at how cute they are, and B.) I knew the way the light hit at what time and I knew how good it looks when that dappled golden hour light hits just right. I have photographed my kids so much in that house and It was wild to be in a space that was so familiar, yet different. We hung those shelves and we sat on the same bar stools.

I really love what they’ve done to the place and look at what a beautiful life they have made inside the walls! I am so happy that house went to a good home. Thanks for letting me document you guys 🤍

I sold my camera to a guy in California, and then took some of their family photos. I loved this super playful session on a hot hot day in LA. Thank you for having me, + . Your home and kids are too dang cute. Follow them both for great photos and sweet content.

I love all my wedding couples, but these two in particular really got me. This Minneapolis wedding was so cute and sweet and everyone was so friendly and excited for these two to tie the knot. They are goofy, fun, unbelievably kind and generous. The best part is that they live in Colorado and one day we are all going to hang out again. I loved this wedding and felt more like a guest than a vendor. Congrats to Caitlin + Brian!
