It is with extreme and profound heartache that we pass along the news that one of our closest friends, bassist and founding member, Doug (Void), passed away yesterday. This is so fu***ng difficult to write…he was such an integral, important, amazing part of all of us, as individuals, and of Radio Scarlet.
His absolute passion for music was more than inspiring. He was always learning something new, creating something he was excited about, sharing music that meant so much to him with anyone who would listen. And if you wouldn’t - he would turn it up loud enough that you had no choice… and you would thank him later for it. Below that “I don’t give a f**k” exterior - he was truly an incredibly caring man with the biggest fu***ng heart. He wasn’t afraid to tell you the things you didn’t want to hear, but that you needed to, and he was always, ALWAYS there for you - no matter what time it was or what he was doing. He was fiercely loyal, and f**k was he SO fu***ng funny. He had a unique and goofy sense of humor - he was always being ridiculously … f**k. We will miss hearing his jokes and funny stories, his distinct laughter, his happiness, the way he could turn any sad and sh*tty situation into something you could laugh about - will be so, so incredibly missed… we were always laughing when he was around.

Right now, that would be everything.
