Everyday Pizza has been a huge support of the Denver dance scene, booking dj's regularly to play dinner hour and giving us a home to eat at. Join us this NYE for MAKE IT TILL MORNING NYE PARTY. We are going late and Chapter will be rolling in a piece of their sound system for this one.

Next up is Into the VOID with AMOTIK, FIAT LUXX, & RHEACT. We can't put into words how this artist has impacted our residents and are elated to be signing up with Tekunomama for this rager.

Nocturnal updated their business hours.

We’re excited to have the next DJ back on the decks for Nocturnal | Alternate Reality. He has been a vital part of the community for many years. Give it up for Steven Dermody.

Dermody is a Denver-based DJ, producer, and promoter.

As a DJ, he has supported acts across the US and a bit of Europe including Richie Hawtin, Marcel Dettmann, Bicep, Carl Craig, Blond:ish, Heidi, Robag Wruhme, Sebastien Mulleart, Honey Soundsystem, Troy Pierce, Radio Slave, Paco Osuna, Aux 88, Nick Hoppner, Lusine, Heartthrob, Agoria, Derek Plaslaiko, DJ Minx and Roman Flugel among others.

Dermody was raised in the Mid West rave scene of the 90's and early 2000's. He co-created the label and collective Make Mistakes, played a meaningful role in Communikey Festival and The Great American Techno Festival, both in Colorado. He spent five years working for the online music store Beatport and was a contributor to the online platform Resident Advisor as well as a channel curator for the online radio platform DI.fm.

If you've been to Nocturnal events, you've probably had the pleasure of seeing Miles Hurwitz play as Lone Dancer. A production wizard, Hurwitz takes influence from a wide variety of music, creating an intelligent, dance floor-focused take on electronic music. In his sets and productions, you hear aspects of house, techno, dub, jungle, ambient, as well as genres like jazz, and classical. Needless to say, Miles has a diversity of styles that can fit any context.

For those who don't know her, here is her history as a DJ and dancer, in her own words:

"I’m about keeping the music about the music always. I was born in California and grew up in Oklahoma and Iowa. I began attending parties in 2006 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Often traveled to Minneapolis for parties and discovered techno after seeing Steven Centrific for the first time."

"I arrived in Denver on October 26th, 2012. I began learning how to DJ in 2013. I always wanted to share the music I’m most passionate about and realized that DJing would be the best way to go about it."

"Numerous times I’ve had a “DJ” save my life and I’ve always wanted to pay it forward in my own way. I like to play several different genres. I like to cycle through genres when I play but I guess my first love would always be techno."

"I have been a dancer and lover of music my whole life. I’m 2009, I discovered liquid dancing, popping, and locking at Winter Warp Drive in St. Louis, Missouri and I never looked back."

"I’m not super sure how people can find out more about me because I’m not trying to be a popular DJ so I don’t want to make social media accounts. I’m more so a person that’s about if you know you know. But you can catch me at Milk on Thursdays either dancing or playing out."
