The PPMA and the Lee Family would like to congratulate Eli Kaufman on his Championship in the World Teen Championships run by US Kids Golf Foundation. Eli shot an amazing 8 under par over 3 rounds at Pinehurst No. 9 in the 15-18 year old division.

Unfortunately, there was no Women's Handicap Champ because of a lack of competitors. Hopefully next year more woman will get involved.

Thank you all that competed. It was the best turnout in many years. Sorry that the constant rescheduling may have caused some to not be able to compete. Hopefully next year will be better and we can have a smooth tournament schedule.

Competitors,

All those that have signed up for the President's Cup, we are playing rain or shine. Please read the below rules of play. These rules will be posted on the bulletin board and the outside scoreboard.

All players who have signed up for the Club Championships will be seeded using the score you post in the President's Cup. Quarter-final matchups will be posted as soon as all the scorecards are turned in. Quarter Final Rounds will be played on Sunday at a time agreed upon by both players. The semi-finals will be next Saturday, 10/21, and the Finals will be Next Sunday, 10/22.

Rules of Play

1. Players must complete 18 holes on Friday or Saturday.

2. Players must play with other players competing in the tournament.

3. Players must switch tees on the back 9. White to Blue, Gold to White, Red to Gold your age sets you at Red – Red.
4. We will be playing preferred lies everywhere. The ball can be rolled one grip length if needed. The ball can be cleaned if it has mud on it.

5. All out-of-bounds and lost ball rules will be in effect unless your playing partners agree that the ball could not be found because of leaves. This is only in effect in fairways and rough. Not in penalty areas or wooded areas.

6. All putts must be holed out. NO GIMMIES

7. Scorecards must have full last names legibly written and signed by all players, left in the pro shop on the counter by the bulletin board in the manilla folder marked President’s Cup Scorecards.
SCORECARDS NOT SUBMITTED BY SATURDAY NIGHT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

8. Winners will be determined by your 100% handicap off your posted score. In case of a tie; a match of cards will be used starting at hole 18 and working backward.

I have discussed the current weather situation with Jeremy and we have decided that it will be best to postpone the Club Championships to the weekend of October 14th. Also to make the most of this move we will combine Club Championship Qualifying with the playing of the Presidents Cup.

There will be new sign-ups posted for both the Presidents Cup and both divisions of the Club Championship. You don't have to play in the Club Championship to play in the Presidents Cup, But you do have to play in the President's Cup to qualify for the Club Championships. Seeding for the Club Championships will be determined by your 18-hole gross score posted for the Presidents Cup.

The Presidents Cup Champion will be the Man and Woman with the lowest net score using 100% handicap. To be eligible for the Presidents Cup Championship you must have an updated GHIN or League handicap.
