Mara's Cafe & Bakery - Denville has officially left Denville. I wanted to take a moment and Thank Mara & Glen Magley for creating these delicious products and giving us decades of incredible desserts for our holidays, special occasions and daily dose of sweetness. I'm so grateful to of been able to keep this brand alive for the last 4 years.

Special Thank You to a few exceptional employees who made a huge difference & always gave their best. I made the very last batch of chocolate mousse last night! My very bittersweet farewell batch.

At 1pm today, there will be 11 chocolate mousse, 11 cheesecakes and some poke cakes available for purchase. No more than 2 mousse per person.
This will truly be the last time you can buy Maras products at the denville location.
The mousse is in white boxes because someone bought all the brown maras boxes 🤣

Mara's Cafe & Bakery - Denville will be holding a Sale on Monday August 8 from 10am-3pm. Everything in the bakery is for sale.
DO NOT COME BEFORE 10AM
Prices are firm except for a couple of negotiable items. We will only be accepting cash unless we know you or your business. We will not be holding items based on phone calls. In person Only. Our pricing is extremely low for most items and 50% off if you looked elsewhere, some higher.
It is your responsibility to arrange to remove it this week, without any damage to the facility.
The Cafe side is already spoken for so please don't ask about the kitchen equipment or tables.

It is with profound sadness and a broken heart that I announce the closing of Mara's Cafe & Bakery - Denville.
Our last day open will be Saturday, August 13. We will be offering all of great products & custom cakes up until the very last day.

I bought Mara's 4 years ago. I was a long time customer who was obsessed with their products (and still am) and that was the driving force behind my purchase. I couldn't imagine a world without Mara's.

Nothing was as it was represented prior to the sale. It was a long hard, expensive road, made much more difficult by 2 years of Covid, increased costs of supplies, significantly less business and who would ever think there would be an employee shortage!

This is the last thing in the world I wanted to do but it's the right decision at this time for me personally. I want to thank all of the Mara's customers thru the years. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special occasions and your lives. I want to thank all of our past and present employees and all of the restaurants we provide product for. Thank You All for allowing us to make your day delicious!

That being said - Mara's is FOR SALE! If anyone is truly interested, please contact me. The business is turnkey and all the equipment, recipes, established customer list and long standing name & brand is available at an extremely reasonable price. If not, we will be selling off all equipment and supplies.

Please refrain from any negativity on this post. This is difficult enough.
