Another cancer update. My personal cancer journey Eric Holler.

Had an endoscopy done yesterday because my liver levels started climbing very high.

Results: No metastasis. Cancer is proven once again and hopefully the final time to not be in my liver. Repeat - there is no cancer in my liver. No reason to biopsy.

Now we concentrate on the cancer/tumor on the head of my pancreas! Which means surgery. Still in hospital. Will talk to surgery team tomorrow.

We also get BACK to CHEMO!

My personal cancer journey. Eric Holler.

…So it’s been a bit since my last real update. A LOT has happened since. I have still not had my eighth infusion due to being in and out of the hospital because of severe stomach pains.

My second stay. We are seeming to get somewhere. I have now (finally) been prescribed a fentanyl patch! No more painful days at home while waiting for whipple! We are having slight issues with the at home dilaudid dose as of right now it has not been effective and working to get that ironed out before I am discharged. The stomach pain had finally hit 10 of 10 of the pain scale. It was excruciating. Ambulance brought me to the hospital on Monday.

So, as soon as we iron those issues out I will be discharged and back on track with my chemo. It is SO IMPORTANT to get back on chemo! It’s the path forward before whipple.

I am also currently waiting to see the floor doctor to discuss a pain block. Not too educated on this though.

Eric Holler - my personal cancer journey - abrupt hospital stay this week due to chemo.

So yeah, that hopsital stay was pretty abrupt with little info to you guys...

I started becoming very intolerate to my chemo regimen FOLFIRINOX last week and it totally did a number on my GI tract. I could not keep anything down food or fluid, which in turn caused the acid in my stomach to burn the mo********er out of my insides going all the way up to my throat and all the way down to my intestines.

My tumor is still the same size, not growing at all which is awesome and this hospital stay was totally because of the chemo. I came home today but I am still in considerable pain. It's hard to eat or drink ANYTHING and I have to do it very slow.

My 8th infusion for this coming Wednesday will have to be postponed to give me some time to heal my insides. Whipple surgery is still on the horizon and I meet with my surgeon later this month.

Anyone else go thru this acid reflux disaster? It fu***ng HURTS! I still hurt!

I was given prescription Sucralsate

I am otherwise in ok, just in some pretty sh*tty and intense internal pain - but I will overcome and i will (i better) heal!

What an absolutely incredible Sunday as well as a bittersweet day at the studio today. As we said goodbye 😭😭 to two of Eric’s original Gacy paintings and hello to two new friends. Traveling far to come see us, Adam and Victoria are two of the most awesome and genuine ppl ever. Unfortunately, Eric was not able to attend the meet up due to him dealing with the beast that is cancer.
