My latest custom pressed flower frame 💜

The backstory: A friend of a friend reached out to me, wanting to have some flowers preserved from her garden. More specifically, these are flowers that she planted in memory of her pup that passed. I’m honored to preserve the beauty of these flowers that she grew, and to symbolize her love for her dog 🫶🏻

My unfinished basement ceiling makes for the most convenient spot to hang-dry flowers 💐
Most of these I’ve cut from my garden but some are for an upcoming project!

A friend of a friend gave me the honor of preserving these memorial flowers as a tribute to her sister and father. What a beautiful way to remember the ones we love, that are no longer with us!

I made this custom frame for a friend that is going to gift it to her sister, she chose the flowers based on her family’s birth month flowers 🥰
This was a fun one, I got to experiment with flowers I hadn’t pressed before! Orchid’s, Lavender, and Geranium flowers + leaves!

2/24/24 I got engaged! 🤍

I preserved my bouquet of flowers from our engagement photo shoot to make this custom shadowbox frame. I added in a few pinecone’s from the spot where Dillon popped the question, we were standing under a grove of Scotch Pine trees. There were pinecone’s everywhere on the ground. And I now have a newfound love for Scotch Pine trees.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but when you can add preserved flowers to go with it, then it’s worth a million words! Now everyday, when we look at this frame we’ll be reminded of all the love and beauty that came with this moment.

Back in October, my sis-in-law asked me if I would press some flowers from her baby shower and frame them for their nursery. Of course I said yes! And I happened to finish it just in time for Christmas!

One of my most favorite things that goes hand in hand with gardening is preserving flower bouquets to create frame arrangements! Here’s a look at my most recent, and by far the biggest one I’ve made so far. Thank you Payton, for letting me bring your vision to life and for being so understanding throughout the process! Some of the flowers didn’t turn out perfectly, I still have lots to learn and more practicing to do. But that’s okay because this is something I really love doing! I also want to thank Carly, for referring me! And thank you to Dillon for helping me assemble this big ole frame! 🖼️ 💐

Haven’t seen many monarch’s around my garden this year but I just happened to capture one on my Goldenrod the other day!

Gardening season = pressed flower season! Gonna be a busy winter putting all of them to use!

Made a special Christmas gift for my dad this year…a shadow box frame of him and his mom with dried Celosia Cockscomb flowers. Grandma Sandy’s favorite flower was Cockscombs, which have become my dad and I’s favorite too ♥️
