When asked us to take over their online presence, we felt honored. You won't find a more genuine, patient-over-profit healthcare provider in central Iowa.

Over the past 7 months, we have completely revamped their digital presence.

Starting with filming and editing this promo video, we began sharing Vitae's story. Then, we took over their social media. Many days have been spent at the clinic capturing photos, videos, and building out content. We've defined who Vitae is and what they stand for.

One day, we sat down with 15 patients to capture their testimonials on camera. These have been amazing for building real rapport with potential patients. A targeted marketing campaign came shortly after. Vitae has seen more clicks than ever and the word is out: Vitae Family Care is the go-to for natural fertility care and personalized healthcare in central Iowa.

We're honored to continue working with Vitae Family Care. Give them a like and see all we've done (and all that's to come).

• The subtle "ripple effect" animated intro (one of Lisa's go-to motifs)
• Blending footage and sound bytes from tons of different events (all but one shot by us!)

🎬 We edited and co-shot "Living Lent", a series produced by the Diocese of Des Moines. The series featured 6 Catholics from across the diocese who spoke on themes of prayer, almsgiving, fasting, and more. We shot 3 of the videos and edited all 6. Below is John Huyhn (Director of Social Justice for Catholic Charities, Des Moines Diocese), speaking on the role of suffering in our lives.

We filmed a TON of content that Catholic Charities has been able to repurpose throughout their Centennial celebrations. Love seeing what they’ve been able to do with it all! 🙌

Such an honor to premiere “Keep Christ Dangerous” for A Simple House of Sts. Francis & Alphonsus at (FOCUS Catholic).

Seeing this play in front of 6,000+ students (and many more, cumulatively, at other breakout talks—see comments) was insanely cool. This was a massive project. At least 7 renditions were shown to the client before we settled on this final project. The feel we were going for was to be divisive. No music, no filler. Just raw looks at what life as A Simple House missionary is like.

The goal hit home. Students came to talk with ASH missionaries at their booth “already on Page 2”, in the client’s words—meaning they knew exactly what ASH was about, thanks to the video. So grateful to know this organization so well, to feel so connected to it, and to have had the opportunity to create something that was seen by many, many students at .

Enormously grateful to Chesterton Academy for asking Totus Media to create their 2024 Chesterton Academy Annual Gala video.

We were asked to specifically highlight the fine arts at Chesterton Academy. Spending a couple days in Minnesota shooting footage, interviewing students, faculty, and staff, and experiencing the magic of Chesterton Academy made this video a passion project from front to back.

🎥 New promo for preschool, Our Lady’s Little Learners ✨

The Diocese of Des Moines reached out to us to create a short, shareable promo for OLIH’s preschool. We were asked to highlight the vibrant feel of the preschool, the intimate care each preschooler receives, and the curated content for each age level. Shelley was an amazing interviewee, and OLIH and OLLL now have a marketing piece they can use for years to come! 🎬

🎥 More work with Diocese of Des Moines & Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Des Moines ✨

⬆️ Catholic Schools of Des Moines asked Totus Media to help create a video package for their 2023 Bishop’s Celebration of Catholic Schools event. We filmed and edited one long-form video featuring all three Educator of the Year Award winners, then created three separate videos highlighting each educator. Traveling to Creston, Ankeny, and Des Moines to film these award winners was an honor. Here is Ann Levine, 1st grade teacher at St. Malachy School in Creston. She’s been a teacher for over 45 years 👀 Congratulations to each of the 2023 Catholic Schools of Des Moines Educator Award Winners!

⬆️ In June, Catholic Charities, Des Moines Diocese gave me a call.

Their 100th anniversary was a few months away. They wanted help showcasing the programs, legacy, and future of their organization.

The scope of the project: a documentary. 2 months, 16 hours of driving, 20 interviews, 500 GB of footage, and around 100 hours of editing. We can't thank Catholic Charities, Barbara Decker, Bobbi Smith, and the entire staff enough for trusting us with their story.

Here's the first 90 seconds of "A Century of Care and Compassion: Fulfilling Christ’s Promise of Help and Hope”, a documentary celebrating the 100th anniversary of Catholic Charities of Des Moines.
