It appears that streets will be blocked off, but walking access to our restaurant will not be impeded. You may want to plan additional time for parking, and wear comfy shoes, in case you have to walk a few blocks.

On this Pridefest map, Lucca is indicated by a teal star, close to the center of the map.

Also, a friendly reminder, with additional people in the area it is a good idea to make reservations for dinner.

Yes, we are open for dinner this evening. Unfortunately, our reservation book is full. We encourage you to bring your Valentine in at a later date. We love seeing you whenever you come in. 💕

A friendly reminder, we do not do any online reservations or gift certificates.

Recently we’ve had a couple of customers purchase gift cards/online gift certificates for Lucca. DO NOT purchase these. The locations the cards are for are out of state, and not affiliated with us. At this time, the only gift certificates we issue are paper, and are sold only at the restaurant.

We will be open this evening. (Friday, January 12) Please be aware that we will be operating with reduced staff because of numerous cancellations.

It's time for PrideFest in the East Village. We will be open as usual, but you'll probably want to plan some additional time to find parking. Also, wear some comfy shoes, because you may need to walk a couple of blocks.

Based on the map provided by Capital City Pride, it appears that 4th, 5th and 6th streets will be closed between Walnut and Grand. The parking garages are probably your best bet for "close" parking.

The holidays are almost here!

With the holidays comes the East Village Holiday Promenade. Starting next Friday, November 18, and every Friday through December 16, East Village shops will be open later for your holiday shopping needs.

With influx of extra people in the East Village, you may need to allow additional time to find parking.

We also strongly encourage reservations during this time. Reservations may be made by calling 515.243.1115. (We're currently filling up about a week out.)

Although we can accommodate some walk-ins, the bar fills up quickly, and is first come, first served.

A special note for our prom guests in larger parties:
Please be aware that there is an automatic gratuity on parties of six or more, and checkout is faster if checks for the group can be divided equally and over as few cards as possible.

We haven't posted in a quite a while, because there wasn't much we needed to report, but now we have some news...

The East Village Holiday Promenade is BACK!

Not only is Promenade back, but it has been extended! The Promenade will now be EVERY Friday from November 19 to December 17.

While it doesn't impact our hours, you may want to plan additional time to enjoy some shopping, and to find parking.

We usually fill up pretty quickly during Promenade, so reservations are recommended.

Reservations are by phone only, at 515-243-1115. We are not affiliated with Open Table or any online reservation services.

Since we have a small staff, we are frequently unable to answer the phone during dining hours. If we can't pick up, please leave a message, and we will return your call.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner. With that in mind, we would like to remind everyone that we are not open on Sunday. (Of course, it might be nice to beat the Mother’s Day rush and take Mom out on Friday or Saturday night.)

We would love to see you and your Mom, prom date, significant other, business colleagues, etc. as soon as you feel comfortable dining out again.

Please remember, weekend reservations fill up quickly, especially near special occasions such as Mother’s Day, prom, and graduation.
