The construction of a new playground and basketball court is underway and JCA South, thanks to wonderful donors and volunteers! We are feeling extremely blessed and excited to provide more resources to our students this upcoming school year.

Our students are returning from a great week at Central Iowa Bible Camp! Thank you to everyone who sponsored a student's trip to camp-we love partnering with our community to share the Good News!

Summer is in full swing and some of our students are enjoying Robotics Camp, where they are learning how to build a computerized robot. We hope everyone is having a great summer break so far! ☀️

At JCA, we want to make Christ-centered education accessible to everyone. That's why we set our tuition to be fully covered by Iowa's Educational Savings Account. All you have to do is apply and you will receive a private education worth thousands at no cost to you--just pay our enrollment and uniform fee!

God brought beautiful weather for lower-elementary field day! Students spent the afternoon working as a team and competing in fun games—they even got to dunk Mrs. Chris! ☀️🏅

Family fun night was fun indeed as JCA was transformed into a carnival for the night! We enjoyed quality time with our students and family, playing games and giving out prizes. Thank you so much to all of our teachers and volunteers who worked hard to make special memories for our students!

Last Friday was a zoo day for JCA South. The students did not have to travel far- just a couple blocks down the street- to enjoy God's wonder of wildlife. So many smiling faces as students saw their favorite animals and enjoyed the sunshine!

Why did the teacher bring solar eclipse glasses to school?

Third grade studied chicken embryology in STEM and had so much fun with this hands-on unit! They got to incubate their eggs and learn about how they grow and hatch into chicks. What a cool way to see God's creation at work!

🍎It's almost time for Iowa Assessments and we want our students to do their best! You can support them by providing snacks such as:
- apples, mandarins, fruit cups
- gold fish
- granola bars
