Just wanted to give some updates:
Our next show is in 3 WEEKS!! We're stoked to be presenting the Severin Films 4K restoration of Dario Argento's OPERA! Fair warning, Saturday's show is already 23% sold. Be sure to catch this gialli on the big screen! Tix & details: latenitegrindhouse.com

Late Nite Grindhouse returns with Opera from the Maestro of Murder, Dario Argento. Opera or Terror at the Opera, the latter is how the film was released here stateside by Orion Films, is a late 80's entry into the already over-the-hill Gialli genre. However, with Argento, we feel that we have an already established driver at the wheel as he craftly makes a traditional Italian mystery against the background of theatrics. Opera is one to see on the big screen with lavish production design and a scene to make Fulci squirm. We will be presenting the film via the recent 4K restoration by Severin Films.

Today is our 14th birthday!! We started Late Nite Grindhouse in 2010 with a 35mm print of THE EVIL DEAD and have continued since. Some breaks were had - mostly out of our control - but we love seeing people who attended back in the day coming out to shows still. Thanks for being the best film weirdos in St. Louis! We can't wait to celebrate this weekend with LNGH: 'FRANKENHOOKER' and during our 13-hour (and maybe one to grow on) marathon, ALL-DAY GRINDHOUSE Part III, in a little over 2 weeks!!!!!

Yesterday was a bloodbath getting those marathon tickets. We have 21 seats left which consists of all of the front row, 6 seats in the second row and a companion seat (D13 to be exact).
Thank you to those who grabbed tickets yesterday. We're looking forward to the show just as much as you are.
