☀️🌺 Summer hair care tips for you lovely clients:

1️⃣ Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Keep your hair and extensions moisturized by using leave-in conditioners or hydrating oils like .murphy Young.Again oil or new oil.💦🌿

2️⃣ Shield from the sun! Wear a hat or use UV protection sprays to prevent color fading and damage from harmful rays. 🌞🧢

3️⃣ Pool & beach savvy! Prior to swimming, apply a protective serum to prevent chlorine or saltwater damage. Rinse hair immediately after swimming and use a clarifying shampoo once a week (Maxi.Wash is the best!). 🏊‍♀️🌊

4️⃣ Gentle detangling! Use a wide-tooth comb or a flex wetbrush, or brush specifically designed for extensions. Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid breakage; Untangled will be your best friend for this! 🚿💆‍♀️

5️⃣ Please use caution when using sunscreen around your hair extensions! Some sunscreens (including spray sunscreen) contain chemicals that can cause discoloration to the hair. I suggest a vegan or all-natural, non-aerosol sunscreen to prevent discoloration. Putting your hair in bubble braids (like in my photo), braids or a cute pony help keep your hair away from your skin while applying sunscreen. Also a good way to keep your hair cute but away from the water. 🤩

6️⃣Nighttime care is key! Before bed, loosely braid or tie your hair to prevent tangling while you sleep. I always add more Young.Again oil from mid-length to ends to keep my extensions hydrated.

Refreshing your hair for Blondes depends on what you truly want to achieve. Low maintenance looks like balayage can be up to 12 weeks. However I would advise doing a gloss treatment around 6 weeks to keep your brightness. Most of my blondes who do babylights see me every 6-8 weeks.

Happy Anniversary to Us! 🥳 It’s been 10 years since we met, 8 years of marriage and a whole lot of awesome memories! Who gives a crap that these aren’t perfect photos… but it’s us! 🥰

It was wonderful to be able to go to Chicago and celebrate Mark getting a Rising Star Award for The Consulting Magazine. I’m so proud of him for getting this awesome award. His hard work and ambitiousness with his career doesn’t go unnoticed. 🤩

I finally got to go up to the fourth floor of the Starbucks Reserve and enjoy an espresso martini! Perfect way to kick off this weekend that’s packed with fun events. My son, Maxx, will be turning 11 years old! 🥹 They always say time flies by so quickly. So I will take a step back this weekend and reflect on all the wonderful memories we have of him being “small”. Can’t wait to make more memories as he keeps growing up. (But for real, 11 years old 😧… I’m feeling so old! 🤣)
