Alright, my friends, if you haven't already heard, the reason for our excitement is the that The Real Monica Adams show is filming its 300th episode at our little café! Her message of kindness and positivity and looking for ways to serve is right in line with us and we couldn't be more excited! Here's the kicker...I need you wonderful folks, who have kept the Just Be Kind Café around for almost 5 YEARS to do me a favor... would you come film the show with us? Cameras start rolling Wednesday at 7am! We will have a drawings with prizes donated by Blush BLVD and surrounding businesses! I would be so proud to show all of you off! I hope to see you there!

It’s a GREAT day to do some Blush BLVD shopping on DeSoto Main Street. The Just Be Kind Café is open ALL DAY 👏🏼👏🏼 until 8PM, and Train Town Treasures is open until 6PM. Don’t forget, the Christmas parade is tonight!! 🎄🎁

The Just Be Kind Café will be open TONIGHT for DeSoto’s tree lighting and nativity walk. Stop by before/ during/ after for a warm drink and some shopping. 💖

Move over Elf of the Shelf!! Parents if you’re sick of having to remember a ton of things at Christmas…. Every night, who to move, what to pick up, where to hide it, etc... 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ Santa’s Kindness Ornament is going to take ALL that planning off your plate, and replace it with THREE daily positive messages about spreading kindness and cheer. There’s TONS of fantastic details to share here so I’m going to try to summarize (It’s hard!! 🙈) Here’s what you need to know:

🎅Starting on December 1st, scan the ornament three times a day and your children will hear from Santa. No download or app is required- just scan! He guides them to do random acts of kindness, to draw a picture, give everyone a hug, etc… (SO many awesome messages!)
🎅Each ornament comes with a keepsake journal for kiddos to write their name, their wishlist, and about their favorite things. (Each child needs their own journal so if you have more than one kiddo, please be sure to let me know so I can get you the correct amount.) The content of the ornament will sync up with the journal providing them a space to make lists, write letters, draw pictures, and read all the fun facts and jokes that are packed inside.
🎅December 23rd, Santa is going to share his favorite sugar cookie recipe with you. You’re going to want to make those. 😉😉
🎅December 24th, you can scan the ornament more than 10 times! While you’re busy, they’re occupied having fun with Santa. On Christmas Eve the journal will show a map of Santa’s journey around the world, he will tell the kiddos all about his trip.
🎅On Christmas Day you get to scan the ornament ONE ☝🏼 time, and hear from Mrs. Clause. Santa is resting. He’s tired from his trip and from eating too many SUGAR COOKIES!!!!! 😉😉 She will give the message that “kindness and care are gifts we all share”….. and that’s it for 2023.
🎅Over the next year you’ll get to scan the ornament once a month to see encouragement from Santa, and to also see him vacationing on the beach. He’s keeping the kindness going!
🎅And on December 1st next year, you’ll get to start scanning again!! This is a FIVE YEAR ornament. Same Santa!! 👏🏼👏🏼 We will have access to new keepsake journals each year, and we’re being told that there will be even more content in years to come.

On this final Friday in October…
Fridays are typically our biggest shopping day of the week. But this month has been VERY non traditional. At this moment, I am calling it one of my worst three since being in business. Facebook jail took a week of income away from me, and notifications have not worked since then. I STILL cannot go live. (If you missed that whole mess, I was locked up due to a spam/ hack issue from 2020!! ZERO fault of my own!!) Since then, I believe there’s a facebook wide glitch happening with groups, and we are all nearly invisible in the social media land. But since all my eggs are in the facebook basket, I’ve been trying to PIVOT, and use the features that do work. When posting into the shopping group from the Blush BLVD public PAGE, notifications are working. Like this post! So, assuming this post will reach EVERYONE, here’s my end of month plea……..
Please. Please. Jump on over into the shopping GROUP, Blush BLVD by Amanda Kay, and check the featured tab. I’ve spent lots of time keeping that updated, and I can almost 100% guarantee that there’s posts there you’ve missed.
