It has been 2 months since this sweet soul left us and went over the Rainbow Bridge. When we returned from California in mid August, she decided to just stop eating. Two days later, we found she had kidney disease and possibly cancer. We did not want to put her through extensive testing, that could not help her anyway. These photos were taken two weeks before she left us. My heart is broken 💔 but she is no longer in any pain. 12 years of unconditional love, as she was more like a dog than any cat I’ve ever known. I made myself one of our urn pendants to have her with me always. You are so loved and missed. Jooge. ❤️‍🩹

Strolling along the beach, this evening, we quickly noticed thousands of jellyfish littered along the shore. It’s bittersweet, knowing that their lives are now over. Once they wash up on the shore, they die very quickly. But what a beautiful site they create.
