What to do?!

In this month's newsletter, we will be sharing tips on how to maintain healthy hair between salon visits as we encounter warmer weather. Stay tuned for expert advice on choosing the right products for your hair type and creating a personal care routine that fits your lifestyle.

Braided, Natural, or Straight Styles?

Tis the season to be braided... or straight!
We know, most of us complain about sweating out our hairstyles when the warmer months arrive. What we typically do is default to braided and natural styles. Neither of which are we against, however we do urge the importance of caring for your tresses while wearing natural hairstyles.

Some things to consider when wearing braids are:

-Making sure there isn't much tension on the hair.
-Being sure to moisturize the hair and scalp while in protective
styes.
-Thoroughly cleaning the hair and scalp when styles are removed.
-Careful but thorough detangling, don't want loose hair catching and causing breakage.

Some of our FAVORITE products to use when wearing braids are:

Inflúance Rosemary Stimulating Spray
It provides itch relief, cools the scalp, and freshens the hair and scalp. All with no build-up.

Inflúance Rosemary Scalp Therapy.
Therapeutic blend of natural ingredients to stimulate the scalp, prevent itching and dryness, and promote healthy hair.

Inflúance Rosemary Shampoo & Conditioner.
This shampoo infused with Rosemary and Peppermint oils, and White Willow Bark to unclog, exfoliate, and promote healthy scalp and stimulate hair growth. Pairs well with Rosemary Conditioner.

Inflúance Coconut Milk Leave-In Conditioner
Moisturize and revitalize your hair while wearing braids.

Inflúance Oil Sheen or S3 Spray
Seal in moisture and add shine!

Be sure that there is minimal tension to the hair and scalp, not much product is used on the scalp, and be careful when handling the hair while detangling to prevent breakage.

If you choose to wear a twist-out or wash & go, try not to overuse product. We want to make sure to not cause build up on the hair that can lead to it looking and feeling dull and dry.

Be sure to incorporate the following when wearing curly styles:

-Use a Deep Cleansing/clarifying shampoo as the first lather, every shampoo day. Our Deep Cleansing Shampoo by Inflúance is gentle and effective.
-Work your product through the hair well and use more...
AS NEEDED
-Always wear something on your hair at night.
-Detangle carefully

It also soothes an irritated, flake-ridden scalp and leaves your hair with a nice sheen and plenty of bounce.

Detangles, nourishes, and seals hair for weightless shine and manageability.

Provides a soft hold with curl definition

Inflúance Coconut Oil Curl Cream

We still need to deep condition and steam our hair at our salon appointments to maintain proper moisture and protein balance. Adding some styling aids to your routine will assist you with at-home maintenance...
