My cappuccino had about 100 calories, 9 grams of sugar, 4 grams of fat and was made with 2% milk.
On a daily basis I will opt for a short cappuccino. Thereby cutting my total to an inconsequential 70 calories with only 6 grams of sugar and 2.5 grams of fat.
Life lesson: Life is meant to be enjoyed. So is your diet.
When you have a good dietary balance there’s a chance you can keep foods and beverages that may generally be considered unhealthy.

When struck with disaster we all face a similar choice. It’s the choice that defines you. The question is, will you fight or are you ready to die?
What are you going to do.
When we are in pain its normal for your immediate feelings to resemble that of a wounded animal. You may feel helpless. Incapable of going on. And all you want to do is hide. Hide from the cards that have been delt your way. To just close your eyes and pretend nothing bad is happening.
But you know you will feel an inkling. That at some point you have to open your eyes again. At some point you have to face your reality.
That’s when the pain gets real. You realize that your life may never be the same. You may feel scared or devastated. As bad as it feels, I can promise you won’t stay there forever. Because life goes on and you with it.
At some point you will be asking yourself, what do you want to do. Afterall its your life. So its your choice. But is it just your life. How about the people who you love and who love you. Who need you. How do they factor into your plans. What about what you wanted for your life. Did you achieve it. Did you really have the life well lived.
You need clarity. And if you let yourself think it through, you may find at the end, that you aren’t ready to go softly into the night.
If that sounds like you, then you have your answer. Its time to fight, fight with all your might. Do not go willingly into that good night.
If you’ve chosen the path of resistance, then you are going to need help. Friends, family, people who have knowledge on your condition and who can help you mound your best defense. You are going to need to spend time gathering as much information as possible. You will need to follow your instinct.
Soon you will regain some inner strength. Will you win your war. Maybe or maybe not. But if you never fight, you will never know.
And when the end comes for you as it will for all of us someday, I wish for you peace. Let who you are guide you and you will surely find your answer.
Do not go gentle into that goodnight. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Hey, have you heard of the supplement diet?

How did you end up here? Well because of capitalism. In America, capitalism still wins. You have been bought by commercialized nutrition. And its draining your pocketbooks.
Don’t feel bad though.. you aren’t alone. It doesn’t mean you’re stupid. It means that you care and you want to be better. It means you haven’t given up. While some may be necessary and should be prescribed, so many are simply not.
I could go into so much detail on this subject, but instead I’ll leave you with this IMPORTANT action step. Stop the supplements. Bring common sense back. It’s time to step out of the matrix my friends. Choose the red pill.

Do you have a dream for your life? When you find yours, what will you do to achieve it?
I grew up watching Disney movies. That means the Disney princess movies. The ones where the princess meets the prince and live happily ever after.
I hear a lot of people criticize the messages sent by those OG Disney movies. They say that they teach girls to be dependent, to want a “prince charming”, and that its unrealistic and old fashioned.
But I disagree. In fact, those movies are partially responsible for why I was able to discover the possibility of my potential. Simply by putting myself into the characters shoes. They showed me bravery and the pursuit of happiness. That’s what the prince was after all. Just a metaphor for happiness.
They showed the challenges, some unfair and evil, that you may have to face and overcome. And they showed triumph and the feelings of happiness and satisfaction that comes with reaching your goals.
But these OG Disney movies did something else too.. they showed kids what it feels like to be inspired and to dream.
