Sewage flood closes Midtown coffee shop for five months In September 2019, the owners of The Bottom Line Coffee House came into work, only to discover their business destroyed after months of renovation.

We just really want to say thank you WXYZ-TV Channel 7 for letting us share our story.

Thank you to our community for your continued support. We are humbled and grateful. All the love we’ve already gotten is far beyond our expectation. It drives us every single day and reaffirms our love for our space and the people that inhabit it.

We’ve had some building issues that have finally been fixed, however it’s left us with quite a mess to clean up.

Our re-opening date is unfortunately still TBD. Building management has a plan of action to get the plumbing problem fixed, and we hope to be open by the end of the week. Can’t wait to get back to grinding! ☕️ 🖤

Ongoing Plumbing issues are forcing us to cancel open mic for tonight. We are also closing down a little early to allow the plumbers to assess and (hopefully) fix our problem. But do not fear!! Open Mic will return next week with host Cye Pie!
