REMINDER: We are pausing earning Double Up Food Bucks in grocery stores from Aug. 1 – Dec. 31.

During this time, you cannot earn, but you can spend Double Up you already have in grocery stores. Before the pause starts August 1, we encourage you to earn and save your Double Up in July to use during the next few months.

This pause does not affect farmers markets, farm stands, or CSAs and does not affect any Double Up locations in Flint.

October SNAP Benefits Update:

In response to the COVID-19 emergency, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has announced that households receiving Food Assistance Program (also known as SNAP) benefits in Michigan that are not currently receiving the maximum amount allowed per household size, will receive an additional amount to raise benefits to the maximum for October.

October additional benefits will be loaded on Bridge Cards between October 18th – 30th.

If your household currently receives the maximum benefits amount allowed for your household size already, you will not receive any additional benefits at this time.

Please Note: the slight increase in the maximum benefits amounts is due to the annual Cost of Living Adjustments. Effective October 1st, the maximum benefits amounts increased by about 5%.
