Thank you to the American Heart Association - Michigan for inviting us to assist with their hands-only CPR training at Ford Field. Strong community partnerships and education are key in continuing the mission of being a HEARTSafe Community. We’re excited to see more people learning and sharing this life-saving skill.
We are proud to announce the launch of the Opioid Quick Response Team, in partnership with Face Addiction Now.
Starting September 16th, when Detroit EMS completes treatment for a suspected opioid overdose, the Quick Response Team will follow up to ensure patients get access to the continued treatment and resources they need.
Outside of receiving emergency medical care, Detroit residents and community organizations can refer someone to the Quick Response Team through the Hope Line at 833-202-HOPE from 8am - 10pm daily.
