Looking to get the young ones away from the electronics for a few hours? More than likely that answer is a yes and we have the perfect way to accomplish just that! Join us this Saturday for a Candle Making Workshop just for the kiddos! Led by the amazing Tonette Washington, a full step by step workshop will be provided to create a hand poured candle that is completely safe to use at home. This workshop is open to children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. See you this Saturday!

As you can see we have accomplished our goal of filling our donation box to keep children in our community warm this winter season. Thanks to two gentlemen who will remain anonymous helped us get this box full today. We appreciate you so much!

But you know what, there are children all over the City of Detroit Government who are in need of winter accessories and clothing so we’re putting the call out to our elected officials, ceo’s and executive directors of non profit organizations and beyond to contribute to making sure our youth stay warm this winter.

We’re all about supporting our community and this cause is one we’re asking everyone to chip in for. In partnership with MorningSide and Brilliant Detroit we have a children’s winter drive in full effect. Donations can consist of new or gently-used coats, winter accessories such as hats, gloves, scarfs, etc. Let’s help keep our kids warm this winter season.
