Urban Renewal, white flight, the ‘67 rebellion are just several factors that contributed to Detroit’s severe population decline. But one that has rarely been discussed is the impact of governmental agencies and its intentional influx of drugs across communities of color in Detroit, and many other predominantly Black neighborhoods across the United States.
From award-winning screen play to the newly released book, author, Christopher Hood is ready to uncover in full what has purposely been untold in Killing Detroit. Tonight’s riveting discussion will surely have you wanting to know more!
A few more seats are available for tonight’s event. To RSVP, visit the link in our bio.
