Welcome to Firebird

We’re a casual restaurant-bar in downtown Detroit, featuring approachable yet elevated food and drink. Since 2013, ‘ the bird’ has provided locals and out-of-towners with a warm, lively and inviting spot to meet, dine, drink and dance.

Stop in for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late(ish)-night dining. We love bourbon and craft beers, and you can find plenty of both at our neighborhood establishment. Located at the corner of Monroe and Brush streets, amid the entertainment districts of Greektown and Campus Martius Park, Firebird Tavern is a welcoming destination between work, entertainment and sporting events, and your home or hotel.

Our home is a historic, three-story brick building that has been thoughtfully restored and modernized. Firebird features two floors for dining and private events (we can host nearly 250 guests!). Each weekend, our second floor becomes your house-party-away-from-home, with our refreshingly casual atmosphere and DJ keeping things lively and pretense-free.
