We’ll round off this weekend’s menu with Bublanina! This sponge cake with fresh blackberries and raspberries is typically found in the Czech and Slovakian regions. We are looking forward to having you and introducing you to our special guest Chef Mat of ! See you soon!

Join us August 30th & 31st while special guest Chef Mat of features this dish! ”Dosa” refers to a popular South Indian dish - a thin, crispy pancake made from fermented rice and urad dal (black gram) batter. It is often served with sambar (a lentil-based vegetable stew) and a variety of chutneys. The dosa can be plain or filled with various ingredients, like the well-known masala dosa, which has a spiced potato filling.

Dosa is a staple in South Indian cuisine and is enjoyed across India and by people around the world. We are looking forward to having Chef Mat and introducing you to his delicious dosas! Tickets are available from the link in our bio or directly from our website!

We used the African spice Suya for this salmon dish and paired it with Jallof, which is rice long-grain rice, tomatoes, chilies, onions and other vegetables. We finished it with Effo Riro, which is a Nigerian spiced spinach stew. Tickets for August 30th & 31st ARE STILL AVAILABLE! AGUACHILE! This dish is made with shrimp that’s lightly cured in a spicy broth of lime juice and jalapeño. Served with tomatillo, red onion, avocado, apple, tomato, and fig leaf oil.

Kopytka are traditional Polish potato dumplings (similar to gnocchi) served here with crispy kielbasa, pickled beets, caramelized shallots, horseradish sauce and dill. Each day this week we will introduce you to a dish that you will see at our next fundraising dinner July 27th & 28th! Today it’s the Peruvian-style scallop cebiche! Refreshing, light, clean, bright and spicy. Served with sweet potato, shallots, choclo, cilantro, chili, and avocado. We also have special guest chef Amira from Yemenite Cafe who’ll be bringing you the final dessert courses! Rasmalai is a popular East Indian delicacy made with milk, sugar, nuts, saffron and cardamom. Think of these sweetly spiced discs as being similar to a soft cheesecake. Another strolling supper menu item that was inspired with Anthony Bourdain in mind is our Pork Sisig. This is a popular Filipino dish made by utilizing many parts of a pig. Our version will consist of minced pork meat and pork belly. We’ve also added chicken liver, onions, chili peppers and topped it all off with sunny side up egg. We can’t wait to see you this weekend! This Egusi is a West African stew made from grinding the dried seeds of melon and incorporating them into a protein rich seafood stock with mushroom, tomato, spinach and spices. First sneak peek is the JAPCHAE.
Japchae is a colorful, bright Korean noodle dish made with lots of vegetables, marinated grilled beef and a savory yet slightly sweet sauce. This dish is made with sweet potato noodles which have a uniquely slippery, chewy texture.
