Save the date: Saturday, Sept. 14 at 4p Free Bikes 4 Kidz will host our 2nd Annual Preseason Roll through the streets of the Motor City in advance of our massive bike collection 2 weeks later! We’ll gather at the warehouse beginning at 3p for a 4p roll out. It will be a slow pace and we’ll go about 10 miles, so everyone can join in - kids and adults. We’ll be led by the LaneGang and we’ll be back at the warehouse no later than 6p. We look forward to seeing you there! bike.dearborn

The fundraising challenge lasts for the entire month, but the first weekly contest occurs from August 5 - 12 and is the most important for FB4K: Rocket gives $1,000 to the top 7 nonprofits that have the most donors this week. You don’t have to donate much - even a $5 donation counts toward our tally of donors (donation link in bio). Since we’re an all volunteer staff (only our warehouse team is paid each season to make sure our bikes are functional and safe for a child) it only costs us $30 to get a child on a bike with a new helmet! So help us make the dream a reality for thousands of kids in Detroit this Christmas!
