First off, THANK YOU.
All of us at Johnny Noodle King extend our sincere gratitude to all those sending words of support and kindness and encouragement!!!
We appreciate the support and the love.
Thank you, it means the world to us.

We want to clear up any confusion about the extent of our closure: we are TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to suffering equipment damages caused by a major power surge Wednesday - it had been our 3rd non-weather related power outage since the beginning of March.

This time the power surge was so powerful it damaged our equipment and rendered some crucial components unusable so we’re closed while we wait for replacement parts to repair the damaged equipment that is crucial for service at Johnny Noodle King.

While we’re not sure the cause of this particular surge we do know, as we said before, that it’s the THIRD power outage since the beginning of March when DTE started construction in front of our building on Fort Street here in Westside Industrial. The construction itself has made operating every day business cumbersome, to say the least. In addition to the three power outages, we’ve experienced daily changes to the construction cone and barricade layout and blocking of our entrance, leaving nowhere for our team members and guests to park. We’ve been communicating our difficulties to the city and to DTE about the construction in front of our building without any productive answers or assurance that serious interruption to our business, including power outages like this one, won’t continue.

Thanks to those sending all the great tips; just to note, we did attempt using a backup generator during the outage however generators can’t do much when the equipment is fried 😑

Lastly, we absolutely intend to repair our equipment and REOPEN as soon as possible, hopefully EARLY THIS WEEK, so please stay tuned. But please understand we’re dealing with circumstances beyond our control and we’re as frustrated as you.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
