We will be having brats, potato salad and baked bean meals for $7 and happy hour from noon till close. Also mango, strawberry, and Creamsicle slushes and margaritas on special too on Saturday July 6th!!

School sack lunches are here! Please, 1 lunch per child & check back next day for any leftovers. That way, there's enough for each child. Thank you.

Hey all, just a reminder we have dance/banquet/celebration halls & a kitchen we rent out!! Contact Jen at 563-843-9191. If she's not there at that time leave a message with the bartender & she will get back to you. It's great for graduation, wedding, birthday all kinds of celebrations.

This is Tammy Olive and I just wanted to say I love my community & love to help. I am not stepping back from everything, just the Friday night fish & chicken fries.

So after 20+ years of volunteering at the Dixon American Legion fish & chicken nights, I have decided it's time to step down & hopefully someone else will step up.
If interested please let Patricia or Jen know. It is a fun volunteering job with awesome people!
My job was to make sure the front table stays full & clean, pick up the dirty silverware from the bins, help wash dishes, & all around whatever help is needed. I also stay until the end & help clean. It is a volunteer position & if there is any food left at the end, that's our pay.

It has been my pleasure to serve & meet so many. Now I will get to come down, eat & visit!

I will still be volunteering for now, to make the taco meat, cut up tomatoes on Tuesdays & do the set up & wash & wrap potatoes the day before chicken & fish nights.
Still working Wednesday, taco nights!!

Again, thank you who have been coming & seeing me over the years!!

Hey all, I just got a Notice from Facebook that they may be deleting our account.

I'm not sure why or what Violation there was or whatever, but if they do I will start a new page.

So, if for some reason, you do not see any updates. Or if you see that you can't find the Dixon page, that is why.
