Did you know that Punxsutawney Phil has been hard at work since the 1880s? As of 2023, Phil has predicted 108 continued winters and only 20 early springs – making his accuracy about 39% to date. Not bad for a groundhog!
So, for Groundhog Day this year, we’d love to know what you think Phil’s prediction will be! Tell us in the comments by using one of these emojis:

For anyone needing a little pick-me-up today, we have an adorable feel-good story about a cuddly sloth and a nervous zookeeper.
The story begins with Amelia, the brand new zookeeper at Drusillas Park in Sussex, who was nervous at first to be working with the sloths. Gordon, our friendly sloth, responded to those nerves with a show of affection.
The two have bonded and now Gordon refuses to get out of bed in the morning until they have their ‘morning cuddles’ and Amelia takes him for his daily spin around the zoo. What could possibly be more heartwarming than a cuddly sloth?

It’s almost time to turn back time! 🎶
On Sunday, November 5th, we’ll all set our clocks back an hour. Your smartphones and gadgets will automatically adjust for the time change but you’ll need to adjust your analog clocks - (ovens, microwaves, etc.).
Make sure you Cher this with your network so they don’t forget to change their clocks ⏰
Just another normal day at the office. Well, maybe not “normal.” Wishing you and your family a fun and spooky Halloween!
Is there something this October that has you preoccupied, anxious, or discouraged? Here are a few words of encouragement: don’t give up.
As one of our nation’s most brilliant and determined inventors once said:
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” - Thomas Edison

Did you know one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime? And even more will know or love someone fighting this destructive disease.
That’s why, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to raise awareness about this form of cancer. Take a look at a few key facts below:
💝 One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
💝 The average age of diagnosis is 62, but breast cancer can occur at any age.
💝 Early detection is key to survival. When breast cancer is caught before it has spread to other areas of the body, the five-year relative survival rate is 99%.
💝 As such, it's important to talk to your doctor about any risk factors and get regular mammograms once it’s recommended you do so.
💝The United States Preventive Services Task Force recommends women ages 50-74 with an average risk receive a mammogram every two years. Women ages 40 to 49 should talk with their doctor to determine when to start and frequency.
💝 There are many effective treatments for breast cancer, and the survival rate has been steadily increasing in recent years.
Share this post to raise awareness about breast cancer, and remember to talk to your friends and family about the disease and encourage them to get screened.
Happy National Neighbor Day! 🌼🏡
Today, we recognize the importance of fostering a sense of community, extending a helping hand, and building lasting friendships right at our doorstep 🤝
Whether it's sharing laughs over a backyard barbecue, lending a hand during a time of need, or simply exchanging friendly waves and warm greetings, these small gestures create a sense of belonging 🙌🏽
Remember, strong communities are built on the foundation of caring neighbors. Let's embrace the spirit of National Neighbor Day and make a positive difference in the lives of those who live nearby.
Tag your neighbors to let them know how much you appreciate them! 💕

As a new school year begins, we thought we’d share a timely reminder for us (ahem) older folks that learning shouldn’t end once the tassel has been turned 🎓

With summer in full swing, we want to wish you a season of fun and hopefully few reasons to utter good old Ham’s complaint.
On that note, we’re also taking this opportunity to recommend a watch (or nostalgic rewatch!) of The Sandlot this summer 🎥 For our team, it’s the perfect summer movie!
What movie is your summer go-to? Share it in the comments, and we’ll add it to our list 📝
If you have a kid heading to college this year, we’ve got a question: How well did you (or others) treat your belongings in college?
Now that you’re in the right headspace 😬, we’ve got another question: Have you considered dorm renters insurance to protect your college-bound child’s laptops, bicycles, smartphones,, etc.? It could save you a lot of money (and stress) in the long run!
Reach out to our team with any questions or if you’d like us to put a quote together for you. We’ve also got tissues handy should you need a few for dorm move-in.
As we get through July, our team has been talking about how we’ve been enjoying the heat – but of course, there are two schools of thought on this. Which one describes you:
☀️ I’d rather be hot than cold, no questions asked!
❄️ Take me back to winter or fall, I hate being hot.
Tell us your vote by commenting a ☀️ or ❄️ below!
It’s National Ice Cream Day, and while we wanted to do a poll to see which ice cream is the best, there are just too many flavors to make one 🤣
So instead, we’ll just ask you: what’s your favorite ice cream flavor and why? Tell us in the comments – and make sure you get a scoop to treat yourself today 🍨 😋
At the midway point of 2023, we just wanted to get the “inside scoop” on what’s new with you all 🍨

⚠️Important safety reminder⚠️ With extreme heat hitting our area, it’s important all of us keep our health top of mind.
That’s why our team compiled a list of key health and safety tips for this heat wave:
1️⃣ Stay hydrated - Drink water throughout the day, even if you're not thirsty. It's especially important for kids and seniors to stay hydrated.
2️⃣ Protect your pets - Keep them inside as much as possible, make sure their water is fresh, and avoid walks during the hottest hours. Never leave them in parked cars!
3️⃣ Dress smart - Opt for lightweight, light-colored clothes, sunscreen, and a hat.
4️⃣ Seek cool spaces - If you don’t have A/C in your home, consider visiting air-conditioned public spaces like malls, libraries, etc. You could also visit friends who have A/C.
5️⃣ Take cool showers - Lower your body temp with cool showers. In addition, use damp towels or mist spray during the day.
6️⃣ Limit outdoor activities - Avoid strenuous activities during the hottest parts of the day. If you must be outside, test in shaded spots and stay hydrated.
Heat-related illnesses are no joke, so let's all keep these tips in mind. While you’re at it, share this post to bring a timely reminder to your network ↩️
Stay cool, hydrated, and safe, folks! 🌞❄️
Temps are rising out there —and unfortunately, so are many Americans’ energy bills 🔥 The good news is there are steps you can take to reduce your home’s energy costs in these warmer months.
To help you out, we’ll be sharing a few such steps, starting with some advice on air conditioning best practices:
❄️Today’s Cool Tip ❄️ In addition to scheduling regular maintenance, regularly vacuum air intake vents and ensure objects aren’t blocking vents. Interestingly enough, you’ll also want to keep lamps and TV sets away from your thermostat, as these can emit heat and make your A/C unit think the room is hotter than it is.
Do you have a cool tip for these warm weather months? Add it in the comments below, and share this post to spread this tip to your network.
Today, we want to say a very Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers and father figures in our network 🎉 Enjoy this day dedicated to you–and to all of the love, laughs, and lessons you’ve imparted 🧡
