Happy Independence Day!

We hope everyone has a safe Fourth of July full of fun and family.

Set aside some time today to pray for our nation and those who lead it!

Please pray for our South Africa Missions Team as they are battling a heavy spiritual attack of sickness as they seek to tell the children in the local villages about Jesus. We know the enemy is trying to stop their efforts, but our God is stronger and has already won! Will you stand in the gap with us and pray for their protection, strength, and healing?

Happy Juneteenth!

Juneteenth, also known as Juneteenth National Independence Day, holds deep significance for our community. It commemorates the end of slavery in the United States, specifically the day when Major General Gordon Granger enforced the Emancipation Proclamation in Texas on June 19th, 1865.

Our church celebrates Juneteenth as a testament to freedom, justice, and the resilience of African Americans throughout history.

Father, today we pause to express our gratitude for the unwavering courage of our fallen soldiers. We honor their strength and their incredible resolve to serve our nation.

God, we pray for the loved ones of the heroes we have lost. We ask for comfort for the mothers and fathers, the brothers and sisters, the sons and daughters. We pray for the spouses and all the friends and family left with an empty space in their lives. May they find a peace beyond all understanding in Your presence.

Jesus, as we honor the sacrifice these brave men and women have paid for our earthly freedoms, we pray we are reminded of the sacrifice You made for our ultimate freedom. We pray the pain and suffering of this world points us to the hope of Cross, and the joy we have in our salvation.

Amen.
