BEAT THE HEAT: Hydration DID YOU KNOW? Just like humans, dogs are made up of approximately 80% water? That means hydration is super important in keeping your pup healthy. Here are some things you can do to help! 1. Make sure your pup has access to cool, clean water. 2. Don’t allow your pet to drink large amounts of water quickly. This can lead to gastric upset and bloat. 3. Place water bowls in multiple locations throughout your home to encourage your pet to stay hydrated. 4. Monitor your pet’s water intake closely. Increased/decreased thirst could be a symptom of an underlying illness.
