🚨ILLEGALLY SHUT DOWN BY THE CORRUPTION FROM THE DOUGLASVILLE CITY COUNCIL AND THE DOUGLASVILLE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT 🚨
Not even given so much as a written notice, warning, citation… NOTHING! Just a small post on one private group page is all that was given to this bar that NEVER had one infraction or issue with the city in the 13 years it was in business! And the ONLY business in the history of Douglasville to be shut down with absolutely no evidence or proof of their false accusations. Meanwhile, a liquor store on Chapel Hill road sold alcohol to minors who later got into a car accident, while under the influence of alcohol that was sold to them, one of them died in the accident…STILL OPEN! A Mexican restaurant down the street from this location sold to minors several times throughout the year. STILL OPEN! A grocery store sold to minors 5 times..STILL OPEN! The “RailRoad” bar just outside the city limits where the co***ne and w**d flows freely, fights happen all the time, 2 people got shot, stabbings and cars stolen from the parking lot regularly…. STILL OPEN! However, this location had not one infraction! And let’s not talk about the City Cops that are always on the news because they get caught having relations with minors or involved in illegal activities! Your police department out there getting in trouble! Serve and protect… who? Because all that gets done to these cops for doing the horrible things they do is the rug gets lifted and the dirt is swept underneath it. It doesn’t matter whose lives get ruined as long as the police don’t take the heat for anything and Cheif Sparks is there backing all of this and pointing his finger at businesses and the community placing blame on them instead of his minions that have allowed our county from being the safest in GA to the second most crime ridden next to Atlanta! It’s not the police departments fault that the community has a huge crime rate it’s the small businesses and the law abiding people. The corruption runs deep with this town! Two members on the city council, Sam Davis who works for a rival bar (Blue Rose) was allowed to vote to shut his competition down along with Alaina Hudson (Hudson’s bbq) who was allowed to vote to shut down a competing restaurant that was doing bbq! This is a conflict of interest! This establishment has been a staple to the community for over a decade. Not only did you ruin this family’s good name throughout Douglas County, you unjustly and illegally shut this business down.

The city council and the police department decided to work together to take out Highlanders. We have been in business for over a decade and have made many memories with our loyal customers. We would like to thank each and every one of you for making this bar the greatest! Please check into our Facebook in the future bc we do plan on moving to another town soon where unexpected shut downs are less likely to take place.
