What’s one thing that gives you joy in your nursing career??

Join us on Saturday, April 13 for our 4th Annual Nurse on the Run 5K/1 Mile Walk to support a great cause—scholarships and professional development for our Bayhealth nurses. This event promises to be the best yet with family-friendly activities like a bounce house, face painting, music, food and more at the finish line.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Bayhealth Sussex Campus. Bib pickup and registration begins at 8 a.m. and the run/walk starts at 9 a.m. Sign up as an individual or a team for either the 5K or the 1 mile walk (untimed) and invite your family and friends too. All participants will receive a race t-shirt and can enjoy the post-race festivities.

Nurse on the Run raises funds that directly support professional development for our nurses. This includes scholarships to cover the cost of advanced training or specialty certifications. Everyone in the healthcare sphere – hospitals, healthcare professionals and patients –benefits from highly-trained nurses with advanced certifications. And it’s been shown that certified nurses lead to improved patient outcomes.
