PTA Highlights: Reasons to Join Today!
Throughout the school year, the PTA provides many different kinds of activities for our children! It might pleasantly surprise you to learn that the PTA covers expenses for Field Trips & Transportation, HERO Coins, Classroom Parties, Special Assemblies, Field Day, and more! This school year, the PTA also upgraded our children's outside recess equipment! Also, the PTA provides Meet the Teacher Luncheon and Teacher Appreciation throughout the year to our AMAZING Teachers & Staff.
With the help of our parents, the PTA is able to accomplish all of this! We depend on volunteers; we couldn't function without them! If you'd like to volunteer, just scan the QR code or click the link in comments.

Parents Welcome to an amazing new school year! This school year, the PTA needs even more parent support! We have an online raffle going on TODAY ONLY, and if you join the PTA, your name will be entered to win a Starbucks gift card. We encourage you to attend our meetings at Welch, which start on Tuesday, September 17th, and are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (Childcare is provided for school-age kids). Share your ideas at our meetings and check out the PTA's plans for the upcoming school year!

First Day of School, Tuesday, September 3rd. Doors open at 7:30am for breakfast, doors open at 7:50am for all student's. School starts at 8am.

We love our amazing custodians! Thank you for all of your hard work during the summer & during the school year for our kids!

The hallways aren’t filled with children but they are full. Did you know that our custodial team removes everything from every classroom over the summer to wax the floors and wipe down all the furniture? We have a great custodial team. Thanks Amanda, Jimmy, Shaun, and Melvin.

Caesar Rodney's Summer Food Service Program starts next week! FREE meals to ALL children (18 years and younger)!

Welch Elementary PTA enjoyed celebrating all of our Welch HEROs for our end of the year celebration with Kona Ice of Dover !

Today, was the final HERO celebration. Students received Kona Ice for being a Welch HERO.
