Fluff & Stuff will be available during each Brookside Christmas event (Dec 9, 16, 17). The Dec 8th event is Sensory Santa for our families with loved ones with special needs. Please respect this time for these families.

Why we do what we do at Dover Rec.....

Our events are growing and we had to make some last minute updates to our HalloBoo event on Nov 1st. Making any changes can be stressful - relocating an entire event takes it to a new level. I was super proud of everyone (our team, the trunks, the food trucks and the community) for rolling with the changes and adapting on the fly.

Later that evening, this message came through Facebook: (permission was given and they wish to remain anonymous)

"I want to thank everyone who was involved in the Hallobooo Trunk or Trick event last night. From the gentlemen who were parking cars, the dj playing music, the workers handing out vote cards and hot drinks, all the workers who worked behind the scenes to make this event happen, and last to the amazing vehicle and the dedication they put in the decoration and costumes. This event was a lot of fun because of all the work everyone put into it especially in the cold temperatures. We appreciate everything each of you did to have this event for the kids. Thank you to the fire truck for being able to come for a short amount of time. My kids love seeing them at these events. Thank you to the food trucks for providing delicious food for everyone to enjoy. We appreciate it all."
