IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM FORMER DSU DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT, Rob London

** Fellow alum/friends, please read**

I will not get into specifics (unless we talk off-line). Effective May 3rd, I have resigned as a director within DSU's institutional advancement division. Several reasons have compelled me to finalize such a decision, but I think the determining factor was how you all were treated back in February, regarding the athletic director's reception invite/non-invite fiasco.

Plainly stated, from the outset, institutional advancement's "management" has demonstrated to me that they do not value employees, and they most certainly do not value "YOU," the alumni base. In all of my years as a professional, I have never encountered a staff who's morale was as low as this group. I can see that the morale is being "thoroughly choked" by the individuals who lead that division.

I can no longer tolerate the internal lies, deceit, and mistreatment which emanate from within "leadership." My friends, it is time to take our university back, and if you don't know how to accomplish that, it starts with a group of like-minded individuals who band together to effectively change the status quo.

My wife came to have lunch with me today and I decided to take her to the newest minority owned restaurant in downtown Wilmington. When we arrived, there was 1 other couple seated at a table. 15-20 minutes later, a table of caucasian gentlemen came in and were seated across from us. After 25 minutes of waiting for our food, the waitress explained that there was an issue with printer paper and no orders were taken. We were told it would take an additional 10 minutes tops. 5 minutes later the gentleman that came in last received their food. (FYI: I ordered the same entree). We were told our food still wasn't ready and would take more time. I, politely, declined to wait any longer and offered to pay for my wife's drink. The manager said ok and the waitress charged me $4 for their Twisted Tea. After I had a conversation regarding the service we received, the manager decided to not charge us for the drink. Thank you!

So, I'm not here to throw Hate just state the Facts. And the Fact is:

Twisted Soul Restaurant located at 413 N. Market Street in Wilmington, DE will Never get my business again! You can try the establishment for yourself and, hopefully, you're experience will be Better.
