***MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT...ALL NEW 2024 MPC REAL STREET RULE BOOK 2.0 UPDATE***
Good evening, as everyone who follows our series has seen recently, we have wide spread in ET ranges and power levels across our class. Our 2024 rules committee has sat down and decided collectively that it was time to reboot the 2024 class rule book. We realize that with the turbo and blower technology as well as electronics and torque converters, we can not add enough weight to these combos that it would be safe and practical to slow them down so we have decided to speed the rest of the class up to the level of these big boosted combos. What we have done is brought all the top level power adder combos within 50lbs of one another and then brought the power level up on the certain combos to be closer in power to weight ratio in order to compete. Our new ET range is low .70's in normal weather and cars will dip into the upper 60's in more favorable conditions. We are also very excited to announce the addition of a new combo to the class moving forward in 2024. Big Block Nitrous and Pontiac Nitrous combos are now permitted under their own section now. With the et range being sped up .15 seconds it only makes sense now to bring these combos in. This is a pretty major shake up to the rule book and has taken some time to revamp everything to bring everyone closer together. We want to thank everyone for their patience . This will be a bit of a fluid situation and we will make adjustments as necessary throughout the remainder of the year to make parody amongst all combos the tightest that it has ever been. Thank you to Tyler Crossnoe and Eric Holliday for colaborating with me once again to bring you all this all new rule book. All of these changes are effective immidiatly going into Jet wars July 19-20th. Its time for everyone to go fast and have fun!!!
