COMMUNITY SOS
If you have "gently used" towels, bedding for twin & queen beds that you no longer need, we have a family who needs it! We are also in need of "new" cleaning supplies. If we have them, we give every individual we serve a bucket of cleaning supplies! Join us in furnishing hope to families in our own community by dropping off at our warehouse. We are here 9am-3:00pm Monday-Friday and 9am-Noon on Saturday!

Interesting perspective on an important topic!
We Can’t Fight Climate Change Without Fighting for Gender Equity Gender equity and environmental sustainability may seem like unrelated issues, but research shows that they are in fact closely intertwined. Women and other underserved groups are disproportionately impacted by the global climate crisis, but they are also uniquely positioned to lead the fight for su...

Too busy to take photos today, look for some table shots tomorrow! All the books have a place, now to get them out of their boxes.
It is a pleasant temperature in the two gyms. We are surprised to be able to say that! If you were worried about the heat, it is manageable although there's not much you can do about the humidity. A drinking fountain is available and we have a lot of fans running.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
We need boxes to store our sorted books in!
*We prefer uniform size boxes and currently use copier paper boxes.
*Bankers boxes would also work.
*We can't use a box smaller than a bankers box.
*We prefer something we can close with a separate lid.
If you have boxes, please Send us a message!
Pass the Paycheck Fairness Act The proposed law would eliminate loopholes in the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and represent a significant step toward finally closing the pay gap once and for all.
The gender pay gap is persistent, exists at all levels of work in almost every occupation, and is widest for women of color. At the current rate it won't close until 2011.
