Mechanic position includes pre-building, building and repairing bicycles. A wide range of technical abilities are necessary. Pay is based on experience.

Sales position includes selling bicycles and bicycle accessories, answering phones, and greeting customers, etc. No previous bicycle shop experience required.


Candidates must be available to work weekends.

The Sales Associate must be willing to be involved in all roles at the Trek Store. We look to the associate to fully and confidently evaluate all our customers' needs and qualify sales appropriately. With customer service being our top priority, the associate must provide exemplary skills in both product knowledge and relationship building. Ability to work in a fast paced and energy filled environment, with a positive, team focused attitude is paramount. We are always looking for quality people regardless of bike shop experience, but a passion for bicycles is a must. Position Requirements:

OUR CURRENT REPAIR turnaround time is about 4-5 weeks. If you need a repair done please bring your bike by, as we cannot access a repair without seeing the bike first. If it is a wheel or flat tire repair we will do our best to complete it within 24 hours.

Due to the extraordinarily high demand and low supply, we currently are out of stock on almost all bicycles. You can check our current inventory at trekbikes.com and a green check mark under the “add to cart button” will let you know if we have the bike in stock. We are definitely taking deposits for those willing to wait for a new bike, with various lead times of usually 90 days or more.

What the position requires you to do

As a Service Technician, you will service and troubleshoot an array of bicycles. You will get to work hands on with the people who ride their bikes and build their confidence in you to keep their bikes running without a hiccup!

Customer service and people skills are a huge part of this position. Be motivated to make every day, every bike, and every interaction better. Prior experience is awesome, but we can also train you to build your skills

Work Order Completion = 90%

Production Mechanic completes work order tickets from the work order queue in POS in a timely manner
Perform the following services (in agreed upon timeframe)
All service shop tune-up packages from basic to comprehensive.
Ala carte services per service menu including but not limited to; Cable and housing replacement; Adjust/repair derailleur’s; Adjust/repair brakes; Replace/repair shifters; Replace chain, cassette, bar tape/grips; Wheel true and dish; Wheel builds; Overhaul suspension; Drivetrain cleaning; Disc brake and dropper post service; Inspect and assess frame and components for damage or replacement
Communicate with customers regarding timing of work order completion and/or modifications to quote based upon inspection
Miscellaneous Duties = 10%

On the spot repairs as needed
Bike builds
Safety audits
Interacting and providing great customer service with customers on the phone and in person
Perform other duties as assigned by management
