😎Try out some fun water activities like swimming, surfing, paddleboarding, or kayaking.
😎Take a leisurely walk along the beach. Look for interesting shells, rocks, and wildlife.

🌻It's so hard to believe it's already labor day weekend! What was summer like for you?
🌻Mine was busy with outdoor shoots for seniors and families, a few bigger business headshot projects, family and family travel time, and a fun trip to Colorado with my gal pals.
For the class of '25...Fall is amazing for senior sessions! There's still time to book!

📷That brings me to this featuring Jen who, like most my clients, only had an old, overused headshot that no longer represented her current career and appearance. As a speaker, she definitely didn't want that to appear on any screen...let alone a stage screen.

📚Bibliophile - a person who has a great appreciation for or collects books.

📚I am not an avid reader, but when I do get into a book, it's hard to put it down! I like stories that took place during conflicts like WWII and recently, one that took place during Vietnam. It's fun to pick up a book that I don't think will be up my alley and then fall in love with that story!

This session was done a few years back with a member of my model team to feature reading and books!📚📚📚

👱👩I encourage my regular senior clients to embrace their inner (bookworm, athlete, dancer, actor, and the list goes on) whatever during their photo sessions.

5️⃣ 0️⃣➕ Amy was my lovely subject last week in the studio, and my latest to step into the 50+ photo session experience.

5️⃣ 0️⃣➕ She has an eye for fashion (her jewelry especially) and considers herself to be confident and creative. Her outfits are super-cute, including this dress from Paris.

5️⃣ 0️⃣➕ AND WOW she is celebrating a significant weight loss journey🏆

5️⃣ 0️⃣➕ Some of the things she's up to is planning a move to Charleston in the near future with her husband of 4 years. She's also got a college-aged son and a new business.

5️⃣ 0️⃣➕I love her example of embracing her age in such great ways and really not letting age stop herself from doing anything she wants!

🤳🤳🤳Yes, even we photographers use our cell phones to take pictures at times. Today's cell phones have pretty decent cameras in them, and are a great tool that is part of our toolbox. Of course they will never replace our professional cameras in quality. But there are plenty of times when the photos don't HAVE to be amazing. You can always improve by using better techniques and light though🤳🤳🤳

🕗Zabrina had put it off too long. She knew she needed to update her personal branding to level up her image online. But she hated photos of herself (I hear this one every day!)

👩‍🔬Don't let her beauty fool you, she's a science whiz and excels in her field.
👩‍🔬When she's not killing it at work, she's got a house full of young boys 👦👦👦to attend to.
👩‍🔬She opted to book a personal branding session in the studio where we accomplished several looks to meet her various image needs. She doesn't hate then either!

5️⃣ 0️⃣ ➕This 50+ and fabulous woman absolutely crushed her clothing/accessory looks, her posing, accessories...ALL of it. She prefers black and white photos of herself and enjoys fashion. She felt compelled to join in the project to have me capture the casual side of herself at this milestone age (which was unbelievable in itself).
5️⃣ 0️⃣ ➕ We're having fun in the studio with this 50+ and Fab project underway. I'm inviting 25 women to enjoy some pampering with hair an make-up, a custom session with me in the studio, and a celebration invitation when we're done. I have 7️⃣ more openings!!

Friends just simply make our lives so much richer! I don't know what I would do without my friends👭👭👭👭! Whether you're someone who "knows everyone" and always has an entourage, or someone who prefers to be close to just a few people, it's VITAL to have this in your life!

📷🧍I've always told clients how valuable personal branding photos are, but this year, I decided to walk the walk (or should I say, pose the pose? 😉). Stepping in FRONT of the camera was a bit awkward, but SO worth it. Now I can share photos that capture my personality, make me more relatable, and show some of what I do for clients...even that I am adventurous with locations sometimes!(ask any of my HS seniors!) 📸✨
