Making History! These 49 students are the first to take and pass the Barbicide certification exam at Columbus, CTE Media Makeup Art. 🥳They are now experts in proper sanitation, disinfection practices and procedures consistent with the current highest industry standards. Congratulations Lions & Bears! 🦁🐻

🎨 Students are exploring the world of block printmaking, crafting unique postcards through writing and expression destined for their future selves. These blocks represent goal-setting and self-encouragement, celebrating their progress and growth.

We are grateful for the vibrant wisdom shared by Los Angeles muralist Hector ‘Tetris’ Arias! 🎨✨ Thank you for illuminating the path to success, the depth behind your art, and inspiring us to pursue our artistic dreams with passion and purpose.

Hector “Tetris” Arias is a well-known Los Angeles Muralist and the Founder of the Southeast Los Angeles Art Center. Some of you may already be familiar with his work, such as the “Dodger House” murals he painted during the World Series championship years of 2017, 2018, and 2020, as well as murals inside Dodger Stadium. Most recently, he completed a mural at the City of Bell Library.
