Fractured lateral incisor. Extraction, immediate implant placement & immediate loading with temporary crown. Final prosthesis was delivered today.

Congenitally missing maxillary laterals, restored with implants.
Pt presented with congeniality missing lateral incisors for a long time. Pt has been wearing flippers for years which broke several times & had to be repaired or replaced. Finally pt decided it’s time to get a permanent solution. When we did the consult & CBCT, we noticed the lack of bone width for implant placement. So we did a bone graft on both sites & after 4 months of healing we had enough bone to place implants. Implants were placed & immediate temporaries were made. After healing for another 4 months, permanent crowns were fabricated & inserted today. Pt was very happy with the outcome.

Another smile correction case.
Pt presented complaining of her chipped front teeth & teeth not showing when she smiles. As seen in the first picture, pt doesn’t show upper teeth even with the widest smile giving the illusion she doesn’t have any teeth on the upper. Pt is congenitally missing her 2 upper lateral incisors & her upper left canine is at the lateral incisor position. Pt had 2 implants done 10-15 years ago but doesn’t like how the implant crown looks.
We decided to do 4 veneers & 2 new implant crowns with the purpose of improving her smile. Left side canine was converted to a lateral incisor & the overall length on the front teeth were increased. As seen on the 3rd pic, her smile has drastically changed & shows all her upper front teeth now on smiling.
We decided to leave the slight metal exposure from her old
Implant since she has a very low lip line.

We were able to enhance this patient’s smile & self esteem with 6 full coverage crowns on the upper.

Pt came in concerned about chipped upper front teeth. We prepped the 4 front teeth for veneers & final veneers were delivered today. Patient was thrilled with his new smile.

With deep sadness we would like to inform all our patients that Dr. Don Dockstader was called to eternal rest yesterday, Monday November 28th. Many of our current patients were also patients of Dr. Dockstader & many of them also have enjoyed telling stories & sharing fond memories of their times as one of his patients. Sara & Chris especially enjoyed his visit to the office with dilly bars & we all will miss his stories & jokes.

2 invisalign treatments completed just in time for the holidays.

Patient came with a fractured molar. Fracture extended up to the bone level & a regular filling couldn’t be performed. We decided to do crown lengthening(removal of bone to expose the tooth margin). Crown lengthening was performed & tooth was restored with a composite restoration. Pt was happy he didn’t need an extraction & implant.

Pt presented with loose & hopeless 2 front teeth ( #9,10). Due to severe bone loss, implant was not an option. Decided to extract the hopeless teeth & do a 6 unit bridge. Final bridge was inserted today & pt was happy with her new straight teeth & new smile.

Congenitally missing laterals with bone defect on the buccal. 2 implants placed with simultaneous bone grafting. Implants were buried at the time of surgery. 4 months later 2nd stage surgery was done & temporary crowns were made to sculpt the gingiva. Final crowns were delivered today. Pt was thrilled by the end result & how natural they look.

Holiday lunch with the crew.

Patient presented with broken down upper front teeth. One of those front teeth had severe decay & couldn’t be saved. Pt’s smile was restored with crown & bridge work with a more favorable bite.

This picture is a procedure we did on a patient who had multiple worn down teeth. The patient was very conscious and did not want to smile. By removing the decaying teeth, we were able to place implants and restore the patients smile, with the screw retained hybrid denture. We look forward to having this patient smile again, have the ability to eat, and gain overall confidence!

After an amazing experience with his lower teeth pt is ready to get started with his upper teeth.

Our office manager Chris is retiring at the end of this week after 30+ years at the office. Although we are sad to see her go, we wish her the absolute best & thank her for her hard work & diligence, which was greatly admired by patients.

This pt presented to our office very unhappy about how her teeth looked. She was not happy about the color, alignment, chipping & had a bridge on the upper left that needed to be replaced. We did crowns on upper front 4 teeth, lower discolored tooth & replaced the bridge on the upper left. We were able to improve the esthetics, function & alignment for her teeth.

Dr. Paul & Sara received their second dose of moderna COVID 19 vaccine today. Rest of the staff will soon be receiving their second doses. Extremely happy to be vaccinated. Safety of our staff & patients is our priority & this is definitely another step closer to assuring our office is a safe place to be..
